I would tone down that Vitamin C to 1 gram a day bro, just been speaking to someone who ended up with kidney stones from taking 2 gram a day like you.

Lot of money there. I would first go with a deficiency test, to find out whether you even need any of these or not,.. From the listed, I only consider whey protein somewhat relevant, as long as your diet is on point.

JoshTDC's picture

Not sure how someone could be deficient in most of these or get them from their diet. Comments like these make me feel like people here only care about ''getting big brah just pump up brah'' instead of actually being healthy and live a long quality life.

Only real sign of being healthy is your blood test prooving that. Pushing nonsense supplements into your system without reasonable cause, based on a doctor's recommendation or blood testsdoesn't bring any added value for your health. You're only being targeted by a marketing of these products and internet influencers being paid to tell these are the products you need. We've all been there, trust me, you don't need any of these. Invest into great diet and do a comprehensive blood test at least twice a year + regular tests while on cycle. That's how you actually keep your health and longevity. Or are you going to throw in 20 capsules daily for the rest of your life instead....?

Also, there is no reason for any lifter to NOT be using creatine. The cost to upside is simply a no-brainer.

Most melatonin on the market is overdosed. Less is more according to an MIT study to the tune of 3 mcg aka .3 mg.

From most studies ive read its the other way around. I dont take it for sleep, I take it for the antioxidant and immunomodulatory proprieties.

I really don't take much of anything vitamin C and D. That's really about it lol

I guess I am just to old school and pretty much just rely on my diet. More power to you though if can take all that.

JoshTDC's picture

Mixture of concentrate, isolate and hydrolisate. Pretty bad I guess but for the price it was a steal for this place. I mostly bought it to do whey iced coffees tho. Protein I can get enough from food, the whey was just a little bonus for the chef

Whey concentrate has definitely gotten better thankfully. But you're right it can be a very low percentage with high lactose concentration. Alot of folks can't tolerate whey concentrate but it's just a matter of finding the right concentrate. Some concentrate is just as good as isolate nowadays but back in the day concentrate was loaded with ash, fat and lactose.

I changed my protein brand and i can see night and day difference in my stomach from bloating to still seeing abs

The only supps I used is creatine, arginine, omega 3-6-9, and whey protein I can't get a decent meal down!

Can't say buddy, I haven't try it, although people say it helps with recovery!

@press1 knows what’s up in the supplement department. You have a pretty good list here with some powerful natural compounds. Shilajit, berberine & turmeric are pretty much unmatched in the benefit/risk profile. Also that ubiquinol and d/k2 are so crucial & often lacking in our nutrient intake. I use senolitics, as well as many of these. Things like NMN, quercitin & apegenin, as they promote cell and mitochondrial health & ATP production and use. Oh, hyaluronic acid in capsule has been pretty amazing in joint and skin health and look. It’s easy to get carried away with this……

JoshTDC's picture

NMN is hella expensive, I found some chinese sources and I think ill risk it for the biscuit when I get some money, its 1kg for abour 400 dollars.
My Collagen powder has hyaluronic acid and ceramides and lots of other stuff too so it packs that.

Nattyboomba's picture

Yeah, TruNiagen has a good product.

Nattyboomba's picture

It can be very expensive. DoNotAge and Renew By Science are the best brands I’ve seen for NMN and the like. 3rd party tested, etc. Collagen and hyaluronic acid together are dynamite.

Nattyboomba's picture

Agreed. I take type 1 & 3 in a powder with my protein & creatine shakes, for my skin, eyes and such, and I take type 2 in a capsule for my joints. Makes a big difference in the health of my knees.

Rosschestzip's picture

theres tons of NMN suplements on amazon, but they all say something different as the ingredients like niacin or niacinamide or NAD+, and a bunch of other shit. does that mean there no good and i should just find a pure NMN?

Owes a Review × 1
Nattyboomba's picture

I wouldn’t recommend getting NMN from Amazon. There are plenty of videos and websites siting studies testing several dozen Bronx’s of NMN to find that they contain zero active compound in them. DoNotAge & Renew By Science are the best sources I know of. I am not affiliated. There are easy coupon codes for 10% off at any given time.

press1's picture

I dunno buddy - You got your shit locked down on the old supplement routine too lol You probably know more than me overall on compounds - Hell there's 3 I never heard of before!! Lmao

press1's picture

To some people it may look excessive, but it shows you are into looking after your health and the way your body performs. Each of those has unique benefits especially when using steroids and lifting weights. Many of those I take too so I know why you are taking them. Do you feel you get benefits from the MSM?

JoshTDC's picture

Honestly, my skin looks better, it started getting really bad on the chest and back from the test/nandro
I also have a tretinoin cream but I feel like combining them has been much stronger. Also the skin does feel more elastic. I think combining the collagen+msm really has a 1+1=3 effect

press1's picture

I would add Glutamine to that list also - Great for the digestive system and also to work alongside the NAC to form Glutathione.
