+ 3 1 Vitamin To Raise Hdl, or Good Cholesterol Levels
As most of us know, healthy lipid levels are very important for maintaining heart and cardiovascular health. Many different compounds, especially aromatase inhibitors can cause an imbalance in one or all of our total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglyceride levels.
This post pays particular attention to raising your HDL, or good cholesterol values with just one vitamin. But, this vitamin can also help lower your LDL, or bad cholesterol, triglyceride values and even help reduce atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries.
The vitamin I'm speaking of is Vitamin B-3, or niacin. While statins can lower LDL levels better than Niacin, Niacin can actually raise HDL levels better than statins do! Niacin can increase HDL levels by roughly 30% on average. But it's important to use a time-released version of niacin though, as an ordinary niacin pill can cause flushing or itching all over your body. The time-released pill will help you avoid these possible side effects.
The biggest increases in HDL levels occur when using 1,000mg to 1,500mg of niacin daily, but those large doses can be possibly dangerous, and you should definitely talk to your doctor before using any doses in that range.

r4zor_reloadedBeen using Niacin for years on and off. It also helps with mood. I find that the flushing/itching is far less when you take it with food. Great vitamin. Fish Oil is great for raising HDL as well, but you want to use the EPA type.. Other types can also raise LDL (bad cholesterol) levels.
Alphamale500Personally, I never experienced any of the flushing or itching sides. Maybe because I always take my vitamins/supps with food like you said. There are many supps that are good for your cholesterol levels and I do take various others. I was writing about that one single vitamin(niacin) that can have such an impact on your HDL levels. Because niacin is said to increase your HDL levels by an average of 30%. That's really good for one vitamin. Garlic with plant sterols is another one of my favorite supps for cardiovascular health.
Good post. Yes Niacin can help. EFA's also help a lot with HDL! + 1
McosNiacin works great_!
Alphamale500Thanks john! Yeah, EFA's are also very good for healthy cholesterol levels.
If the average person added up all the vitamins and supplements they take to combat something they might not even be affected by, they could get a blood test and see where they are. Bloodwork will tell you if you are deficient in anything and if you have high or low cholesterol. How much does a bottle of vitamins cost as well as liver pills, saw palmetto, milk thistle liv52 coq10, etc. I bet in one month its about 70.00. The cost of a blood test is a little less especially if ran by your pcp. So then you can stop pissing money away and use it towards more food or hookers or bail money when you tren rage.
Totally agree. Get bloodwork, get hookers....rinse and repeat.
Alphamale500I'm in no way suggesting that taking supplements or vitamins should replace the need for bloodwork. I really believe in taking vitamins/supplements to help maintain optimal health conditions. And if you don't, that's fine also. For some of us, taking these supps and/or vitamins is just a little extra protection against whatever it is that particular supplement or vitamin is said to help with.
Actually, most cholesterol supplements say right on the bottle that they're specifically designed to work when your levels are already within normal range. Most are really meant to keep your levels from going out of range, and not the other way around. So, waiting for your cholesterol levels to go out of normal range before taking supps/vitamins makes no sense whatsoever, and can be too late by that point!
So even though some of the most popular supps and vitamins I use may not be as effective as they claim, personally I prefer to use many of them, get regular bloodwork, diet, exercise and do whatever I can to maintain optimal health especially when using gear. If you choose to use vitamins or supplements, you should use them correctly. If you choose to wait for out of normal range bloodwork before using them, it may be too late!
I do agree that they can cost a shitload if money though! For me it's worth it.
Cant argue with food and hookers
What about eating the hookers as food? And if you ate one with a yeast infection would that be a tuna sandwich?
I just threw up and died with my own vomit in my mouth
Omega 3, K2, Q10, Potassium ...
Alphamale500Yep, yep!
Hell yeah, niacin and fish oil are a must
