What tests to take

ad

We're always talking about how you should get tested before, after a cycle, in between... but what exactly are those values you have to get tested for? In my case, the easiest way to get blood work is know which indicators I must get tested for, go to a clinic and have it done.

So which are the absolute essential tests I should have regularly done if I want to integrate AAS into my lifestyle?

I would also get your psa checked

Liver panel, total should include: AST, ALT,alkaline phosphates, bilirubin, albumin, total serum protein; lipid panel should include: triglycerides, cholesterol, HDL; creatine, testosterone and estrogen. That all covers liver, kidney, and hormones. If ur taking test ul elevate test and estrogen, when the estro gets too high just back off the test for a couple weeks. Vitamin B6, selenium and zinc help slow the conversion but just back off test. For me when test gets too high I get a permanent chubby and my nipples look like No. 2 pencil erasers I mean if you wanna get that jacked up go for it but that puffy nip is the start of gyno. I back off then beat the shit out of all big muscles quads, glutes, hams, back that'll jump start the natural. Oh yeah too high test, watch ur nuts, they will atrophy a bit, don't let em go too small or ur playing with Barbie dolls. .

Thanks! I wonder how much that would cost me though, but that's a different problem.

Bro, I'm trying to find that post you say but can't find it. Do you have it at hand? Also, it would be awesome if I could just go to my Dr and tell him "Hey, I'm on gear, now do some tests" but I wounder if he would react positively...

Yeah, that's where I looked but couldn't find it. Maybe the results only go so far.

Money IS an issue. Last time I got some 8-9 hormonal levels tested and it costed me 90€. I'm trying to find a routine that will allow me to get only the essentials tested about 2-3 times a year.
Do you only care about your lipids beside hormones?

90Euros sound cheap to me. Do you mind pointing me to where you got your levels checked?

This was in Spain, at the private practice. I got tested for estradiol, testosterone, free testosterone, cortisol, LH, FSH and prolactin like a friend from this forum advised me to.
Maybe it's not THAT expensive, but damn!

Definitely doesn't sound expensive in comparison to what I have seen. Still mounts up if you are going to do it 4 times a year. Just try to look at it as money well spent. might not seem so bad.
