up coming cycle

ad

Whats up bro's , I am new to eroids, but not new to gear. Posted in the intro forum an what not.

Anyways just looking for some input on my upcoming cycle, any advice would be much appreciated.

Its gonna be a short cycle 8 weeks, I typically like to keep my cycles short, also I like to use short acting esters. Just in case any issue arise I can keep the damage to a minimal.

My Diet is consistent year around, Low card high protein, I am not big on protein shakes, I use them only if I have an incomplete meal. Im not to stingy on carbs, I find that I crash with out consistent carb intake, But of course no soda "water and juice only"

Gym : mon-fri Cross fit : Sat cardio : 5k run twice a week sometimes ill throw a heavy ruck march in.

Cycle : WK1-8 Test prop 100mg eod or ed not sure yet
WK 1-3 Epidrol 40mg WK3-6 50mg WK6-8 40mg
WK 3-8 Exemestane 12.5 as needed
would use Anavar, but already have epi on hand so what the hell

PCT : WK 1-4 Clomid 40-50mg ED
WK 1-4 Exem 12.5-25mg as needed
WK 1-4 Ostarine 20mg ED
WK 1-4 Mk-677 GH 40mg ED

I Know most of you guys think im crazy for using sarms during PCT, but I have been using them for some time now during PCT, and have had no issues. I find they help keep me from crashing, and help retain gains

I get blood work done before and after each cycle, free VA health care has its advantages :).

Again any input would be much appreciated. ty much

The definition of cross fit is the ability to lose gains. Preach brother

BigWA67's picture

Exactly lol

I admit dedicated cross fit guys are for lack of a better word crazy, but i concentrate mainly on lifting, cross fit provides an extra challenge, forcing my mind to ignore the pain during CF workout is exhilarating, especially when its all said and done. but i understand that CF is somewhat counter productive to gains.

giardap's picture

Crossfit is absolutely 100% not productive for gains in muscle mass - let's just get that right out there up front.

Crossfit trains movements/lifts (poorly), not muscles. The muscles are secondary to the actual lift and not the other way around. Secondly, crossfit is all about efficiency, as is power lifting, not inefficiency which bodybuilding needs to be successful. Bodybuilding requires a optimal inefficiency and full focus on muscle contraction etc.

If gains in muscle mass are what you are after, you better take a very different approach, otherwise you are wasting your own time and everyone in here who tries to give you advice.

Makwa's picture

Crossfit just basically sets you up for injury. You never train the whole strength curve because all you do is use momentum making you weak at both ends of the strength curve. Dumbest thing out there in my opinion.

giardap's picture

Ah man, you have hit the nail on the head. It really is silly stuff altogether
If I have another " ow my rotator cuff " conversation with a crossfitter, I will bang my head off a wall
madness

I am defiantly paying attention to the advice I am receiving.

Your consistent diet is low carb, yet you say your not stingy on carbs, and you need carbs all day cause you crash.... goon against what you just said...
Ps a good diet and training after cycle is the number one way to keep gainz.
Goals are athletic and has nothing to do with bodybuilding so I'd keep the gear to mainly focused on that.
Not and expert in that field but I thought winny or something was in that area. Not sure.

What exactly is your cycling history? ...and what were the results of these cycles?

z1blastomatic's picture

I did my first cycle when i was 21, Hdrol and Mdrol. I cant remember dates and doses, I mean I am not a savant. After that first cycle I stuck with prohormones for years, hdrol, mdrol, epi, and otc pct supps etc.
but my cycles in the beginning were inconsistent and erratic to say the least., but I have always stayed consistent in the gym gear or no gear.

I did my first true cycle when I was 23.
12wk cycle
WK 1-12 test cyp 300mg per wk
Wk 1-8 Dbol 40mg ED
WK 8-12 Deca 400mg p wk
This cycle was a learning curve, because I was not prepared for the PCT, needless to say I was getting bad advise. I didn't understand long acting esters, or the fact that my body would not just bounce back like it did with prohormones. Either way I learned alot about what my body could and could not handle

After that cycle I have stuck with 8wks on 4wks off, and Short esters forms of what ever gear I used. I typically do not use bulking gear, i.e. deca , tren, anadrol, Dbol is my exception. I stick with anavar, wini, drost prop, Primo though it is long acting I like to use it when I can Find it.

In my early twenties my weight was 170 off cycle 180-5 on cycle, now it is 180-3 off 195-200 on cycle.

I have been consistent 8 on 4 off for five years, sometimes ill take a month no gear minimum gym. My system reacts well to gear overall, and my PCT doses are low, I let my body do as much of the work as it can.

I see below that you're aware of your nutritional prob....that's where I was going with this since you've done quite a few cycles and sitting at 180#....fix the nutrition and grow or stop using aas....defiantly don't need drugs to maintain that weight

z1blastomatic's picture

Defiantly agree, I think I am gonna take 6 to 8 months off after this cycle. Concentrate on my diet and put on some natural quality weight. Come back to it and change up my cycles and gear usage.

z1blastomatic's picture

If I had a nickle for every time.

Drock_357's picture

Wise decision....diet up and maintain another 15# or so then maybe revisit the idea of adding aas

Makwa's picture

I have been consistent 8 on 4 off for five years,

If you have been doing that, which I highly recommend against, you should be sitting 240+. Something don't seem to be working here. All you are doing is yo-yoing. Put on some weight due to glycogen retention while on cycle and losing it all off cycle. If you were doing things more productively, you would be continually gaining lean body mass. I would reassess how you are doing things.
I think all you are doing is running yourself into the ground.

z1blastomatic's picture

I am not sure I should be sitting 240lbs, but other than that I totally agree with you. Something is not working , thats why im asking for advice . I do struggle with my diet, what i consider low carb is probably not what most people consider low carb. Should I push my cycles out longer? and take more time off gear during the year?

Makwa's picture

You really shouldn't be running any cycles. You need to figure out how to get nutrition working in your favor. What I am more worried about is that you HPTA is likely fried beyond repair the way you have been doing things. I would first try to see if you can get your HPTA functioning first and foremost.

z1blastomatic's picture

I get an HPTA panel ran when I go to the VA hospital each month, or atleast after PCT and before starting a cycle. Believe me I have stopped cycles immediately, when my levels were abnormal. That is why I prefer short esters. When I say 8on 4off I dont mean one after the other, Just when I do a cycle I do 8on then a 4 WK PCT. Think you for your concern though.

But defiantly I am gonna reevaluate my nutrition, and take a long hiatus from gear.

z1blastomatic's picture

My bad should have added my bf% 13-15 depends if i am abusing the local bakery , cant help my self.

I do compete in crossfit but not officially, its a local CF gym we do a competition every 3 months. I lift mostly though, I just do crossfit on the weekends.

As for what i am trying to accomplish , Mostly just self improvement, I love the pain and focus, the intensity drives me to just be better. But also there is a cash prize for the winner of the next cross fit competition so that is also pushing me, Mostly the truly dedicated CF guys blow me away, but either way it is fun. My goal is 200lbs , with minimal water retention.

helloBrooklyn's picture

WK1-8 Test prop 100mg eod or ed not sure yet

That's quite a difference. Are you competing in crossfit or something?

Makwa's picture

Do you lift or just crossfit? What are you trying to accomplish here?

XmadXscientist's picture

Do you have an actual goal or are you doing this for fun? People are probably going to want to know your bf% before any input is given.
