TRT and Cruising

ad

Hey guys,
I'm not a new user here and have been lurking for quite some time and have posted a bit but am at a bit of a crossroads due to my recent diagnosis.

I am 25 (Almost 26) and ran 4 cycles before hopping off when we had my daughter. Fast forward for about a year of no erections, sex drive, or energy and I get prescribed TRT at 100ish mg a month of Test Cyp.
For those familiar with TRT they want you to go in every 3-6 months for labs and checkup.

Now this is something I will most likely be taking my whole life, i figure if I have to inject anyway why not get some use out of it. However when I go in for 3 month labs it will be blatantly obvious I have elevated levels, I would like to retain my rx and regular blood tests, or at the very least regular blood tests. So honesty is the best policy in this case ? I figure I would just tell my doc my plans and be straight up with them but want to do it in a "safer" more regimented fashion, suggestions ?

-Second part.

I have never done blast and cruise, nor do I really know a whole lot about it.
My plan was to stay around 200mg (1cc) of Test Cyp on a weekly basis for cruising, and Possibly bump that up to around 400-500mg (weekly) during a blast.
I want to stay in the lowish levels but still get some benefit out of it.

Thanks for the long read guys

Welcome to the world of short ester blasting. This way you'll have minimal concerns of high numbers when blood test time comes. I have lost a doctor cause I didn't plan well and refused to go in for a blood test.

If you tell your doc you plan on "blasting" also plan on getting cancelled. You need to time your Blasts also to when you are due for a blood test. meaning 3 weeks before you go you need to get yourself back on the PRESCRIBED dose. So if he prescribed 100(ish) no idea what that means then you need to fall back on that. Don't try and trick the blood work, cannot be done which also means you will have other parts elevated as well that will require a pct regimen to drop the estro and lsh.

As a TRT patient, the dose is around 125 mg / wk injected as (2) 250 mg shots twice per month. Best to pin the 125 mg / wk every week for more stable blood levels. Levelup below is absolutely right - If u get labs taken with elevated Test levels - they will not prescribe more medication. My advice - under no circumstance disclose your AAS intentions to your doc. He might fire you as a patient, notify your insurance company or worse. For us TRT guys, there is never any PCT and we just sink back into months of "normal" Test ranges to let our bodies heal after a "blast." You can time things so that your doctor's blood test will not look out of whack.

I get prescribed TRT at 100ish mg a month of Test Cyp.

this doesn't make sense. typically it would be a weekly or biweekly dosing for trt protocol and it would be a set amount not 100ish. I recommend you consult another trt doc. I can tell you one thing...you cannot go into a trt appointment with test levels outside of normal range or they will not prescribe you anything anymore

Surprisingly, this is a common practice.

A friend of mine was started out at 100mg a month by his trt doctor. He would feel good for about a week and a half and then go back to feeling like crap.I think he is on 80mg a week now.

Edit:He was getting 200mg once a month.

Start doing some research on trt dosages. You will find 100mg a month will cause a roller coaster effect.Find some studies that you can print out and present to your doctor.I don't think I would tell him what you plan on doing. If it goes in your file,it could affect your insurance. When you decide to do a blast, plan it around your doctors blood test. You can possibly go to a private lab for blood tests during your blast.
