ad
Hello to everyone at Eroids this is my first post here and I thought I'd seek out some advice from some more experienced bodybuilders and fitness folk.
- Test E 150mg x2/wk (prescription dose)
- Masteron 200mg x2/wk
12 week cycle planned.
PCT: - I plan to run a 10-15 day 500iu/ED HCG blast followed by 40/40/20/20/10 on Nolvadex.
I also eat healthy and run an on cycle support. I use Olympus Labs Arimacare Pro. Bloods are good.

I’m a former opiate addict. Over 10 years on the shit. I was snorting 7-10 oxy 80s a day then moved to a bundle or more of dope a day (never shot tho, always snorted)... i have no tolerance for people that can’t get their shit together.
I made the dedication to get my life back. Went on suboxone and within 2 years I was off everything. Been off all opioids for over 5 years now.
I know he can’t just stop suddenly. But he can work towards it. Something he doesn’t seem to want to do, beings that this is 12 years after a shoulder injury and he’s still milking it for drugs. Xanax none the less. And ur gonna tell me his shoulder still hurts bad enough for opiates? Fuck no.
I have a ton of sympathy for Real PTSD guys and I have no business giving advice to them or telling them to get off Xanax. Other than weaning off I wouldn’t even know how to. But his “ptsd” that his xanax is for is from being awake during a surgery. He needs to get fuck outta here with that bullshit. Fuckin soft.
Kid needs to man up and stop masking shit with drugs. He doesn’t even see that he’s an addict, cuz it’s prescribed.
Alphamale500Congratulations bro, really!! If anyone knows how hard it can be it's me. I hear you bro. I'm a former addict myself, like I've mentioned on here before and I think even spoke to you about addiction before. And with many years clean myself, I too have that feeling towards other addicts that they really just need to stop fuckn around and get serious about this shit! If I can do it, they can do it right? You kind of look at addicts as pathetic once you've been clean for a while yourself. I think a lot of former addicts think that way after being clean for a while.
Yeah, the OP seems to have some serious addiction problems and needs to realize that, before anything else! That's his first step. Everything you've said above is true and I'm not trying to argue with it. But remember at your worst period using, how hard it was to just stop? I sure remember mine. Just keep that in mind! That's all I was trying to say.
Like you said yourself, you were stuck in the cycle of addiction for 10 years before you were able to start the process of stopping. Just remember how hard it really is. And once again, Congratulations D!! Clean for 5 yrs is fuckn great bro!
You’re very right and make good points. I bet it’s part self hatred, you know? Like you hate that part of urself so much that you take it out on the people that are like you when you were in bad shape. I dunno I’m no shrink, but it makes sense lol. I just get so mad cuz luckily we didn’t die, but we both have buddies and family that have and I just get so mad when I see someone stuck like that. And tough love works on me but I guess not everyone lol.
Thanks man, for the record wasn’t going for the applause break, just wanted to say where I was coming from with my outlook. I appreciate it tho.
Either way you make really good points. Hopefully this dude can dig himself out. And hopefully he doesn’t run this shit show of a cycle (or any until he gets it figured out)
Thanks again brother for the insight.
Were you really D? I never knew that, don't think I've seen you mention it before. Its funny how a past addiction that you've had yourself can really get your back up isn't it when you see it in others - When alcoholics & people who are obviously pissed try to talk to me on the street it gets me really hostile as it frustrates the fu** out of me seeing how people are wasting their lives and coming up with excuses as to why they need to drink, when in reality they are alcoholics in denial like I was, and are either too lazy or scared to sort themselves out.
Yea. I’ve definitely mentioned it before but not often. I sold Oxy’s when I was in high school and didn’t realize or know how addictive they were. Kinda spun out of control from there.
I don’t talk about it much tho. I don’t consider myself an addict. I consider myself an opiate addict. Talked to a couple head docs that think the same. As in, I don’t have an addictive personality and don’t have a problem with anything else. For instance, having a couple of drinks once in a while. But opiates are for sure a weakness. Even if I get hit by a bus or get shot or some shit, I’ll be taking Advil for the pain and pushing thru whatever it doesn’t cover lol. Theyre too powerful for me to fuck with ever again.
Yeah you totally hit the nail on the head. I feel bad for all the people out there that are going through that and have had family members lose someone. I've known a couple myself. I never get why people simply assume it is the same process for everyone. Everyone has a unique circumstance. Whether it be just abuse, parental abuse that perpetuated it, injuries, or surgeries, ect. Especially for those out there that have a far more complicated process it takes more patience, positivity, and therapy. I am doing all of these and it's just a matter of time.
Alphamale500Absolutely, I hear you bro!!
I was an addict myself. I have sympathy, but not any for someone that's not really trying.
Don't cycle until you can get off the narcotics and start training and eating for real. And I hope you really are trying to get off and not just saying it. I don't have a lot of confidence in that though since it's been 12 years...
That's real world solid advice.
I used to hang out with guys like you. Full of excuses. They're fucking dead now. I've litterally lost count of how many close friends and family i've lost to addiction. Man up and get your shit together or you're gonna end up the same way.
Alphamale500For getting off of opiods, and instead of the suboxone, there's a shot of time-released buprenorphine now(which is the same active ingredient in suboxone), that stays in your system for a whole month!! It's one sub-q shot per month, only buprenorphine and no narcan. The only downside is that until it becomes generic, it costs $1,500 per monthly shot! But, some insurance companies can help you pay a whole lot less, you gotta check. But that's more for maintenance, rather than getting off. For getting off, tapering off slowly with the subutex or suboxone is your best bet.
For Xanax, you don't really have a choice except a slow taper. But your doctor can at least switch you to a long acting benzodiazepine like klonopin. Good luck, wish you the best!
In my experience a taper with klonopin wont do it. I was on it for years. They used a different taper I think it started with a Z. It took me 2 months of inpatient to taper off the taper they gave me and I still had a seizure in the first week. I had another tonic-clonic one after the 2 month taper. Couldn’t even feel the heroin withdrawals because the benzo ones were so much worse. I’d say inpatient is the way to go based on what he’s on but that’s just based on my experience with it.
Alphamale500If detoxing in a hospital setting they would likely use Ativan (lorazepam). There's some detox centers that'll actually use Xanax to taper you off of Xanax. There's such a high risk of seizures and convulsions like you said. I was trying to suggest a long acting benzo that he can switch to now with his doctor, in place of Xanax. Nowadays doctors usually prescribe Klonopin instead of Xanax anyhow, because it has a lower potential for abuse, and it's long acting. That might be a good way to start the process of getting off the Xanax.
You were inpatient for 2 months? Damn, most insurance companies where I live would never pay for 2 months of inpatient care, because benzodiazepine addiction is such a frequent occurrence with ppl these days. They would be spending a fortune. You're lucky.
I was prescribed klonopin, Ativan, and ambien which is probably why I had to stay in the hospital for a while before being transferred to inpatient. Both still used something with a Z I can’t remember what it was. I was actually in for 5 months total but just my taper took 2 months. And yes it costed a fortune since insurance didn’t do too much.
I’d always recommend detox since the switch from Xanax to klonopin didn’t help and like the OP it was all from a doctor so nothing changed except the substance prescribed. Actually more got prescribed.
Yikes. Yea I wouldn’t know where to start with Benzos. Especially cuz you can die from the withdrawals. That’s awesome you got off of em. Lucky I never got hooked on them.
Thanks I appreciate it. My doc pointed that out as being an option if I reach a point where I can't continue going down each visit. That's a good point on the xanax and I'll be sure to bring it up. Thanks, and have a great one!
Alphamale500Can I ask exactly what meds you're currently on?? You know, like the pain meds and anti-anxiety meds
Yeah for sure. I am on Oxycontin 15mg x2/d and oxycodone IR 20mg x3-4/d. As for anxiety I am on the 1mg xanax pills 2-4 per day. I average around 100 on the oxycodone and the goal is to go down 20mg a visit. It's going well so far. I am trying to stay positive.
Alphamale500So you have the Oxycontin for pain relief maintenance, and the OxyIR for when you get pain flare ups? That xanax dose isn't that high compared to some others I've seen. Even myself, I used to be prescribed Xanax 2mg, 4 daily. I'm not saying that makes it alright by any means, just saying. And you cannot just cold turkey benzodiazepines like Xanax, because you'll end up going through seizures or even possibly die! You would need to be tapered off. Benzodiazepines and alcohol are the 2 "drugs" you can't just quit cold turkey if you're really addicted to them. Opioids you technically can. But I'm not saying to try that!!! And do you truly wanna stop these meds all together??
Best thing for anxiety is training - If you are truly training balls out then you'll have no energy left to feel anxious as you will be too tired. One of the worst things to take however is also steroids, extra testosterone in the system isn't going to relax you. Its always best to resolve these issues before jumping on hormones all of which will alter your state of mind to some degree. Conquer the underlying causes before masking them with more drugs.
Alphamale500That's very true. When you exercise your body releases endorphins. These endorphins can even help reduce your perception of pain. But these endorphins also give you a positive feeling of well being, a type of natural high.
Agreed. He’s gotta get off the whole lot.
Manateeswimmer5678Also, no homo bro let's see some pics man because that cycle seems pretty heavy and should do some drastic work on you!
I put up a pic when I was all Natty from back in the spring/summer. I tried to post a more recent pic, but I was sent to the guidelines page.
Manateeswimmer5678You're gonna love Masteron man, don't know much about sarms but with the Masteron I don't think you'll need as much aromasin because it has some slight anti estrogen properties in itself.masteron will keep you dry and help your estrogen stay controlled.
Lol
Molinin302Not sure why you'd be running the HCG and the AI so early, before a blood draw to see how much you actually need? And as far as the benzodiazapines, I urge you strongly to reconsider. I'm as open and honest as they come and this forum is about that. My Dr prescribed me Klonopin for anxiety when I was going through some funk. I became dependant. The withdrawals sent me to the ER twice, almost stroked me out and/or killed me. Might want to reconsider what you're doing with your life bro. It won't grow back if you lose it.
I greatly appreciate the constructive post. On the HCG I just followed what I was told to do. As per the AI I've had mild gyno symptoms in the past, however, once the mast loads I may not need any. The other option I suppose is to lower the T. I am truly sorry for what you went through. That sounds rough and I am glad you are alright. I wish I could find an alternative. I've tried L theanine, herbs, ect. Is there anything you have found that really worked? I have mild PTSD( was awake during an operation) and anxiety at night which is when I take it.
Molinin302Honestly man the drugs work, and work very well, and if you do go that route limit them. Besides alcohol it's the only other class of drugs that the withdrawal can be fatal. I tried kava kava and it was ehhh. Benedryl can help sometimes. Just be careful bro, best wishes.
Alphamale500Alcohol and benzodiazepines are the 2 drugs that you must be tapered from or your right, it can be fatal!!! Been there multiple times like twenty-something yrs ago!! Opioids like heroin can be stopped cold turkey, not that I'd advise that though. In fact, I'm NOT ADVISING THAT AT ALL!!! It'll just be a few days of pure fuckn hell. But of course there really should be a nurse on sceen. But I'm actually not 100% sure about all the different opioid medications though!
I hear you on that. For sure. Thanks bro and the very same to you.
Molinin302What are your current dosages on the Xanax and what pain med and dose? Also opiates and benzos can easily stop the heart. Where ya at with consumption and frequency?
I take between 2-4mg of xanax per 24h. I am prescribed oxycodone up to 100mg p/24h. Yeah I totally hear you on that. They actually tried to add a muscle relaxer on top of these two at the hospital to help wean me off the oxycodone further. I brought up safety concerns and was told I was more resilient than most patients and would be fine. I avoid mixing those 3 together of course. The lowest I got on oxy was around 30mg last spring/summer. My protocol then was coffee, tai chi, acupuncture, martial arts, and lots of tight pussy haha and it worked. I tried to cold turkey at that point, but was kept up all night from pain.
AnonI work with a guy who takes 3mg 3x a day. He gets sick AF if he forgets his bottle at home..
I take .25mg once a month, if that, mostly because of my in-laws while I'm on cycle...
.25 mg. And I'm fking cooked. Straight up could kill my dog and I wouldn't give a fuck. Can't even imagine 3mg...
Still working on a script from 3 years ago for 20x .5 mg pills.
Molinin302Ok, here we go. This is advice from a person that is not a Dr, I'm college educated and have personal experience. No liability here. At these dosages, which I had a feeling they were, you're in the danger zone bud. Dump the hormones, DO NOT stop the Xanax. You need a detox at this point. If you're being honest here, you're above the threshold for the benzos. If you stop abruptly you WILL have a seizure. It's not a question of if or maybe. It will happen. Good luck man, get treatment and I wish you the best, but I'm done here. Check back in 30 days bro. Best wishes.
I really respect what you are trying to do and your support. Not many people these days look out for one another bro. If our roles were reversed I'd do the same for you. I can say that I was hoping to just taper slowly off to 1mg as needed then off completely. I do know a lot of people in the work place who take 1mg a night. However, you may be right.. a detox might be the better option. I believe some of my docs and I am not blaming them but they are at times too aggressive, and I think it's showing here. I'll see what can be done and look into other options. Thanks. Sounds good and you too.
Molinin302I care. Get hospitalized.
Manateeswimmer5678Lol have you ever tried HCG and then bust a nut? That shit is crazy man it adds like quadruple the volume of jizz hahahaha. Some people also speculate that there are benefits from HCG because metabolites from the FSH and LH stimulation may promote well being. I read it somewhere but thought it was interesting concept.
Molinin302Hell yeah brother! My TRT doc keeps me on it. That was one of my issues, before treatment hardly anything, now certain days I'm like Peter North's cousin lol
AnonPain meds, xanax, anavar is a pretty popular stack for drug addicts and aids patients.
Just saying..
Yep some people definitely come across more as drug addicts than people who enjoy busting some ass in the gym. Then the next post they put up is a full list of all the supplements & vitamins they obsessively take to stay 'healthy & look after themselves' ....
You say you are still recovering from intense surgery and have just started lifting again - So you intend on jumping straight on anabolic steroids??! You surely must know the answer to this yourself as to whether its plain stupidity or not ....
