Steroid cycle question for a novice

ad

Hello all,

I'd be so grateful if you could help me - I am completely new to this world and have made the decision to begin a cycle.

I'm 6'3" and weigh 238Ib. Body fat is around 15%. I've been consistent in the gym for many years and started powerlifting and competed in a couple of comps since November last year. I'm looking to drop a weight category and retain if not gain some strength. My diet is pretty good and will remain so.

I am considering a 6 week cycle of

1) A mixture - 0.5mls/week - (Testostrone-Decanoate 270mg/ml, Testosterone-Phenylpropionate 130mg/ml, Nandrolone Decanoate 130mg/ml & Nandrolone Phenylpropionate 70mg/ml)

and

2) Oxandrolone 25mg/day

I was recommended the blend by a friend who sang its praises but just wondered if anyone else has any experience with this?

I was also recommended a well known book which I've read and have formulated a PCT of

1) hCG 1000iu/day for 10 days - starting 10 days after last injection
2) SERM

I have oral liver protection on order as well.

I'm clearly inexperienced and trying to find out as much as I can but would massively appreciate the wisdom of the users of this forum to ensure I get the most out of this first cycle.

Are the doses reasonable?

Has anyone got any experience of the mix-4? Would they recommend it?

Do I need to include anything else in my PCT? Is the hCG dose okay?

Many Thanks, all advice would be greatly appreciated!

Throw this cycle idea in the garbage and start over. You'll find all the info in the world here on this site. You just have to do some reading. Your first idea is in no way a beginners cycle. Good luck man.

First off you need to delete the brand name and next, you really need to do ALOT more research. I don't want to spoonfeed you but the basics of running a first cycle are layed out all over this site so it is real easy to dig it up. Only way you really learn anything is by doing a little research yourself and not being spoonfed.

2 things I will say right away. Toss the idea of that mix. After your research you will know why. Next, you will likely be hurting unit if that is all you have planned for PCT. Research and then come back with a new revised cycle and PCT and we can get it dialed in from there.

Hi Makwa - I appreciate what you're saying abut spoon-feeding but can you please explain why the blend is a bad idea? I've been looking through the forums and can't find any clear answers why?

Cheers

You are running a nandrolone there which is going to add a whole new level of complexity to a cycle, let alone you will be running 2 different compounds with that mix which is never a good idea for a first cycle.

Thank you

Makwa's picture

Also, why is it a bad idea to be running multiple compounds for a first cycle?

thepumpscientist's picture

Well it appears that
a) I'd probably have a favourable reaction to a single compound only as I[m a beginner
b) If I were to have an adverse reaction to a blend I wouldn't know what caused it
c) Its overly complex??

I genuinely have tried to read a lot before just posting in here - but I am after all a beginner and need someone with experience to advise me. I'm not after a recipe but there is a lot of conflicting / unreliable advice out there and I want to make the most of as little as possible. I train hard and eat well - I'm sure a little would go a long way.

Would you suggest I'd be better off using a single agent such as Test E 200mg/week for 6/7 weeks? Maybe increasing to 350mg/week for the last week?

Sorry my bad - I've edited the post to rectify that. Okay more work needed - I'll do some more reading.

Thanks for your help

Too much for first cycle IMO. Check out cycle forum and advice for first timers. Should be a sticky thread there. Read, read, and read some more. The decision to do a cycle should not be taken lightly.

Thank you,

Clearly I need to read a bit more into this. I thought I was being super conservative. I'll read through some more threads.

I've been training for a decade at least and am 31 now. I've thought about it hard and spoken to my partner about it. I feel like I've thought hard and not made the decision lightly.

Thanks again
