Starting first cycle.
ad
So I have been researching for the past 6 months and I am ready to start my first cycle. I have a few questions about it. I am planning on doing a very light cycle for the first time. I plan on running 300 mg of test e per week for 10 weeks. I also have Exemestane on hand just in case and plan on running Clomiphene citrate for pct. My goals are to increase gains and over all strength. I am just wondering if this dose of test will be sufficient to see gains at the end of the cycle? Is this a good cycle plan for someone who has never used any aas before? And about how much gains i should expect to see provided training and diet are adequate? Thanks in advance guys any advice is greatly appreciated.

Have you pulled pre cycle bloods? This is very important and often overlooked. You want to make sure that after PCT you have properly recovered. If you don't do this now you will have nothing to compare to when your finished. You may pull post bloods and see that you fall into a normal range, however whats normal for one can be completely different for another. Make sure to do this and youll be off to a good start. I believe your dose is conservative but great gains with proper diet and training can be made with 300mg for a first go. As far as diet get with Makwa below and your golden.
Alright i honestly hadn't thought about that. I was just going to see if it was in normal range, and your totally right what's normal for some may not be normal for others could be high or low for me therefore no way to tell if I have fully recovered. Thanks for the great advice!
RustyhookerPrivatemdlabs female hormone panel. 60 bucks
Or male panel for 150. Same test.
What do you have in mind for diet (cals, macros) and training? What is your BF%?
As for diet I'm thinking I should up my calories to 4,840. 176 grams of protein.66 grams of fat. 855 grams of carbs.BF% 20. I work at a very physical job 4 days a week and currently train 3 days a week but plan on upping it to 5 days a week. I plan on monitoring my bf% during the diet to see if I need to adjust carbs but considering the amount of physical work I do and then training on top of that I will be burning quite a few calories so I'm not sure if I will need to adjust up or down. This is my plan as of right now but I'm very open to any advice I receive from more experienced guys!
How did you come up with those macro splits? ...70%c..and .8g of protein per lb of body weight...?
Also you should have your training down pat before you add in aas, not because you are on cycle....
What should I change about the diet?
Carbs way to high, protein way low, fats low....I would think eating that many carbs is going to add more "fluff" than muscle, especially at that little amount of protein for 220 lb guy.....do some research in the nutrition section on macro splits....better yet, look at makwa profile..he has a ton of info that will help you. I'm not going to lay out a diet plan for you, if you do your homework, you will understand where I'm coming from....
Bf% is a bit high for a cycle also ( imo),....I suggest getting down below 15%, preferably 12ish or lower.....the higher bf% is a tell tale sign of poor nutritioning, which will be where the "gains"come from...simply put, half ass nutrition = half ass results, gear or no gear!...
Higher bf can have somewhat of a domino effect if using aas....water retention=bloat=higher blood pressure=more bad sides....again, spend some time using the search tool up top left of the page, ...you will find that EVERYTHING relates directly back to proper nutrition...
I would absolutely put the cycle on hold until you get a grip on nutrition and how to manipulate macros to meet your goals
