Short cycles yay or nay?
ad
Heya guys, Im pretty new to the game and planing on doing my first test e 10 week cycle soon and i will post up all my stats etc for critique before i start it. But i have been researching and would like to get sum more info on everybodys thoughts on short cycles for slow gains, like 2 weeks on 4 off for instance sounds interesting but have only found mostly old info about this. I was wondering if anyone has tried such cycles and how they find them in regards to gains over a year or so and how they compare with sides, shutdown, etc.

tread-mHat only works with coccaine! Forget you ever read it and put up your age , bf%, stats , goals , diet info in a new thread discussing the benefits with a 12 week cycle of the test E. If you run the above type cycles first order a hello kitty hope chest so you can pack your dick away in it fir safe keeping, you won't need it anymore...balls too , they look funny hangin there by themselves. Just joking, they won't hang anymore. Lol. Get a new thread brother and do it right. This is a no go short or long ester here the way you have it. I'll just pretend I never saw this and wait for the new one.
Lol, quality!
mazarUnless you are on trt it is a very stupid thing to do. There is a reason why they say one must do 2 cycles a year, you can restart your natty a certain ammount of times and every time is going to be harder and harder. You dont want to restart your natty 4-6 times a year. Best to stick to 8-12week cycles and do them twice a year this way you wont be taking nolva/clomid 6 months in a year either.
Very good point. You can do short, but your body HAS TO have the time to recover. You keep stopping and starting the car, and eventually, you'll flood the engine.
The problem with short cycles is that the gains you might find fleeting and hard to maintain.

Read that bro
How does the protocol written there give you time for decent recovery? It doesn't, so you are constantly shutting yourself down and starting back up partially.
Now that is exactly how to mess up your axis.
AnonIt's a good way to confuse the pituitary if you're constantly trying to restart your natural production, sooner or later-your body isn't gonna follow. People might argue that you get good gains off a short cycle, but my arguement is, that constant shut down isnt good for the HPTA
Nasty81NateI'm just sharing my own experience, I ran a four-week short of prop/dbol, had to go short for medical reasons. Retained alot of strength, and small amount of the weight after PCT, and honestly PCT was very easy. My experience was that recovery was very easy, because I feel like the cycle didn't shut me down that hard so my HPTA was able to recover much easier. That's just my experience with the one short I've ran.
Its true that recovery is quicker, but not that quick, at least not in the long run.
From bro to bro I would advise you not to do it again, at least not with such a short off-time like 4 - 6 weeks.

1 month pct
repeat.
looks nice.
Sorry guys maybe should of left the first bit out about the 10 week test e cycle, but yes def prop for a short cycle, if you look at this link you might get at what im trying to find more info on. www.steroidology.com/forum/anabolic-steroids-bodybuilding-articles/29773...
I don't like the idea at all, and I'll tell you why. Even if you do run just a short cycle of 4 - 6 weeks, your endogenous testosterone production will not completely manage to recover that quickly.
That means your htpa axis wouldn't be completely restored as you start the next cycle. The net result is, you will be subject to permanent shutdown, but without the gains that would have come by just continuously taking the test.
Generally I have nothing againste short prop cycles, but you need to do them with sufficient time off.
Thanks EBSNW1, exactly what i was after, peoples reviews and opinions, i know there must be reasons why they are not popular just wanted to know why.
First of all, 10 weeks test -----> useless
Running test e for 4 weeks on and 2 off ------> dumbest idea I ever heard.
If you meant something else, maybe you should have explained it better...
Yeah I don't know who told him this info but everything I just read was a complete mess.
sgtstedankoHuh!? I'm pretty sure the only good shorter cycle would be with like a prop, etc, etc, etc. What's this 2 on 4 off? Have not read of the 2 on 4 off either, but I don't get out much
I would think that wouldn't be beneficial at all for Test E, or C, or pretty much anything for that matter... I'll keep an eye on this one to learn something new though : ) Keep researching and let me know what you find...
