Pinning multiple injectables
ad
I'm starting my first "dual injection" cycle of Test C/EQ (done test/anavar a couple of times) and was wondering if I can draw in the same syringe or if they need to be separate. I'm concerned about when trying to get the air out to get an accurate read and some of the first compound gets into the other vial. Thanks for your help!

Nothing quite like a fish hook tearing through your quad to get you in the mood for a lift.
Things is we have seen the microscopic changes that happen to the needle tip after it has been used just once, once its punctured a vial stopper a few times it could start punching bits of rubber out and holes.
Lmao
I back fill. I have had to many issues where I try to draw into the same needle and the pressure is off or I draw a bit to much then I can't push it back in because its now mixed.
Supplies are pretty cheap. I just backfill
What i am leaning towards when I start stacking.
Thanks everyone. I get baseline labs this week and plan to start after. I plan to pin twice a week and was just curious if I needed to buy a bunch of equipment. I'll try drawing into same syringe and see how I do
Been doing this for a couple years now. Unless i'm using one of those no waste tips i actually pull an extra .05cc into the barrel to make sure i get all of the oil into the muscle. A small bit of air isn't a problem with intramuscular or subq injections. It's intravenous that's the issue and even then a small little bubble shouldn't be an issue.
As long as it's the same brand and carrier oil should be okay! I've made the mistake of mixing different brands with different carrier oils and if you look closely at the syringe you can see how they don't jive well. Sometimes crazy pip and sometimes not.
Also just make sure to release the vacuum or try not to create any vacuum inside the vial, because after you pull up an amount and go into the next vial for draw, it could suck some oil back into the vial. And of course you could always back load your barrel if you're careful about keeping everything sterile.
Even if there's air in it just go to the next cc this is what i do. Draw up 1cc out the plunger on the 3cc line and see if the oil goes to the 2cc line then i know that's exactly 1cc. Then put the pin in the next push the air in and stop right before the oil gets to the pin. Then draw out another cc. Then do the same thing out the plunger on the 3cc line and now it should go to the 1cc line now u know you have 2cc one of one thing one of the other. If you take in a little more or a little less of either its not the end of the world. And if your going by lines you can do it the same way go to a cc line abs see how many lines up it is of its 3 lines and is 100mg you have 30mg. If it's 3 lines and is 250mg you have 75mg. Cuz each line is 25mg.
Do you typically switch out the drawing needle between drawings, or do you use the same needle and only change it when it's time to inject?
I use the same barrel and 23g like 10 times probably. But i change the 27g i pin with everytime.
I use the same a lot depending on the compound. “Officially” or in a medical context you’d need to change, but depending on the compound and solvent cross contamination or introducing anything dangerous is very unlikely when using proper technique (alcohol swabbing vial before, etc.).
For dosing and original post question it’s really pretty simple. Use the lines and don’t worry about so much about air in the syringe. Everything said here works as they say “many ways to skin a cat”. I was always taught to point the needle at the ceiling, flick to get any bubbles/air out, and slowly depress until air is out and dose is ready.
If you can do grade school math you can probably dose your oils/peptides correctly.
I was just curious; I also use the same needle and occasionally change it. I know some people swap out their drawing needles all the time, which is definitely the more hygienic approach imho. But you’ve made a great point—sometimes contamination can happen with the syringe along the way. You were spot on brother.
You can mix in the same syringe. Totally fine. Press all air out when finding dose on first. Then fill up as normal.
