-1 Newb any advice for me??

ad

Hi so im 35 years old 5'7 and weigh a pathetic 60kg. I literally have no body fat at all. Im sick of being scrawny so decided to hit the gym with the intention of starting steds once my body is used to lifting the weights say after 3/4 months.
So having never done steds which ones would you recommend and when do u actually take them? Pre workout or post workout?
I also heard that you are supposed to take them for like 3 week then have 3 week off and so on
Oh one more thing, would anybody recommend GHB as a growth hormone? I can get my hands on it easy but have heard mixed reviews
Oh 1 more thing, with me not been able to put weight on just by eating loads n fatty sugary foods if i carry on eating junk while im training will this impact on muscle growth??

Cheers guys

You need to eat a lot of food, but clean food. cut out the junk food. It will get you nowhere. At 132 lbs., your approx. maintenance would be 2,250 calories. That's resting. Then you have add for calories burned during activities. At your weight you can figure about 300 for an hour of weight lifting. So your burning 2,550 calories day. To gain weight you would have to consume more than that. 500 is a good rule of thumb. Which works out to 3,500 calories above what you've burned each week. 3,500 calories equals 1 pound of body weight. Macros are another factor to consider. Everyone is different, but I would assume you would do well with 40% protein, 40% carbs, & 20% fat. Protein & carbs are both approx. 4 calories per gram & fat is approx. 9 calories per gram. To equal 3,050 calories that would be 305 grams of protein, 305 grams of carbs, & 68 grams of fat per day. Fats should be healthy fats such as avocado, salmon, peanut butter, olive oil, etc.. These are important, as they are responsible for natural testosterone production. It is best to consume carbs with a low glycemic index, except for immediately after training, because carbs with a high glycemic index are best to replenish glycogen and spike insulin. By doing all of this, you should be able to gain a pound/week, which doesn't sound like much, but after 15-20 weeks, you should be up 15-20 pounds. If you find that you aren't gaining, up the calories until you are. I wouldn't aim for any more than one pound a week though. This is just a starting point. You can dial it in from there. Down the line (probably after a few years of training) you will run into a wall, as you will have maxed out your genetic potential. That's when steroids are an option, but you have to do tons of research. There is a lot to know. In this case, what you don't know can hurt you.

Great post, but I don't think anyone maximizes his or her "natty potential" in a lifetime, let alone a few years.

The man is 132 pounds. Eating 100% clean would be counterproductive for him imo

XmadXscientist's picture

He said he's pounding high fat and high sugar garbage foods. Huge amounts of this type of food actually slows your body's metabolic process and can be counter productive to goals. It can also make you feel and look like shit with enough time. Just look at professional bodybuilders in their off-season, you think they're healthy? I say he gets a blender and shoves chicken and grains like quinoa or rice in there with whole milk, maybe peanut butter, fruits and some veggies or something. Start chugging that shit down and grow. The cleaner you eat the more efficient your body is.

I would agree with that.

I remember my days of having excuses on why I was so darn skinny. So yeah unfortunately just eating more food it's the only way you gonna put weight. It's like having a Corvette engine but you not putting any fuel, it's not gonna run don't matter what type of engine(AAS) you get. See my point? Either work with what you got or go the extra mile adding more calories to your diet, there is no magic drug that can replace calories

Are steds the same thing as steroids?

Eat until you're ready to puke, then eat some more. No need for drugs until you gain a significant amount of weight naturally.

Thing is mate is i do eat, im one of them unlucky (or lucky depending on your perspective) that eats shit loads but dont put on nothing BUT can loose half a stone in a week and that will take a good 4/6 month to gain back
Iv never been above 9n half stone in my life

I feel your frustration, I've been there. The good news is, you can gain weight. You just need to learn how to eat the right way.

Why don't you head to the diet section and make a post with a very specific layout of your diet. I'm very confident there are some changes that can be made to get you headed in the right direction. Keep in mind, it's an on going process. It's something you stay with, you shouldn't be losing any weight. Losing weight is a sign you don't stay on point regularly enough

Stick with the most anabolic substance on earth... food.

I would recommend browsing the diet and training section for awhile, lots of really good info in there that will do more for you than anything else. 3-4 months of training is not nearly enough to even consider using the supplements you want to, you should train natural for 3-5 years before contemplating taking the next step. I know it's not what you want to hear but if you start right out the gate your results won't be that great, you'll have set the bar impossibly high right out the gate, you don't understand how to use food to maximum efficiency so your gains will be negligible and you'll possibly be dependent on high doses to keep anything. Master food, training and sleep then watch the muscle pile on while natty and let your body's new muscle set in and acclimate over time, thus giving you a better base to build off of. In the meantime continue to research.

Thanks mate ill bear that in mind. I really dont want to do steds but i feel iv no option, im so scrawny that its borderline annorexic and i aint being dramatic, i just cant put weight on and its effecting my confidence and relationships coz i think no one will want me once they see me naked, i cant even look at myself in the mirror,iv literaly never been above 9n half stone in my life and i know it will take a good year to start to notice results but i just thought once i am used to lifting and get into a routine then that would be a good place to start supplementing with steds, i dont wanr to be big, i just want to be able to do thinga normal people do without embarrassment
Have you taken steds?? If so which are best anabolic or growth hormone ones??

helloBrooklyn's picture

I'm sorry, you're gonna have to do some more research for yourself on AAS. And GHB is a date rape drug. I'm not even gonna talk about that shit.

Bust ass with the weights for a while and research, research, research in the meantime. Good luck.

I hear what ya saying and yeh ghb is known as a date rape drug, but its also used in nightclubs for a buzz and also it was used alot in the 70's by body builders because of its growth hormone propeties and its also produced in the body naturaly but i was wanting to know if anybody had used it for weight training purposes and if the results where good. Its cheap, alot cheaper than steds
