MF's Beginner Cycle

ad

I have designed 4 different novice cycles: Orange, Yellow, Green, and Blue.
From what I have researched they appear to be a standard Test-E beginner cycle, but there is some differences in dosages, PCTs, use of Dianabol, etc...

I am asking you all which color looks best for a weightlifter using gear for the first time. I am looking to see your personal opinion on which one looks the best as well any changes you recommend (i.e substitutiing one thing for another, excluding an entire thing, etc)

Thank you for any help eroidians!

ferrigno, what makes you want to jump on the aas train?

MidgetFerrigno's picture

That's a good question; forced me to be very introspective.

I guess I really can't give you a beautiful well-rehearsed reason and I can't say I have some crippling disease that's eating away at me. For me it really all boils down to strength and cosmetics. I want to gain a good chunk of strength and muscle mass and I want to do that in less time than I could without a chemical 'push'.

OmNom's picture

Honest answer I like that, +1 in my book.. A lot of new guys on here bullshit us to hear the answers they want

i love people that are receptive

well thats understandable...before we even get to the aas part lets focus on diet a bit b/c if that is not spot on then you arent going to get the benefit of growth, natty or on roids....what is your current diet like?

Well today was a rest day
Wednesday 1/16/2013
Breakfast: 2 English Muffins with Peanut butter and jam... 1 snackpack pudding, 1 apple, 1 scoop whey protein (22g)
Lunch: Box of ricaroni with 2 small chicken breast... 16oz skim milk... 1 snackpack pudding (they are cheap and delicious)
Dinner: 1 box Mac and Cheese with roughly 3/4lb of ground beef mixed in... 1 scoop protein in 16 oz milk
Before bed: Currently undecided and I am going grocery shopping tomorrow so I am a little thin as far as food but I suppose a PB and J sammich, maybe a scoop of whey, and I'll see what else I got.

Tomorrow I go shopping so hopefully I can get more grub around the apartment. Havent ate eggs in close to a week, all out of milk now, no veggies, barely any fruit anymore etc...

P.S. WHat's a better yogurt brand than Chobani because that shit and milk being overpriced nowadays is eating a whole in my pocket

levelup's picture

sounds good, we have our culprit right there and i dont mean that in an ugly way, starting tomorrow when you go to the store get rid of all of that processed shit, that is what is holding on to your extra body fat and keeping you from building lean mass...that and your macros are off

Average macros: 1,920 cals, 65%protein, 20% carbs, 15% fat.
Im 195-200lbs, my basic caloric needs are 2,600-2,700 so ill be eating on average a 700 calorie deficit. Im using this diet to close out the ebc. Before someone says too many shakes...typically my first meal would have 10 egg whites instead of the 2 scoops of whey but i have been banned from cooking them at my office. so if im home its egg whites if at office its a shake. brussel sprouts can be changed to spinach, asparagus, broccoli
* I might add the basis of this came from papaswoles post on cutting diets...its just adjusted a bit to fit my schedule and routine and amounts are changed a bit. im also trying to cycle my total calories to see if i can crank my metabolism any higher

Beautiful. Thanks man, you've been hugely helpful.

i get kroger brand plain greek yogurt...cheapest thing there...anyways.., when you go shopping tomorrow, stay on the outside of the store, veggies, whole grains, lean proteins, natural pb and for right now cut that milk out until you get to a dirty bulk, its loaded with sugar and not worth the little bit of protein that is in it

here is a list of foods compliments of my man GS, he really helped me get my nutrition in line when i first found this place...
In case u want to change up the diet:

so you're hitting the weights hard but after a few months you get discourage because there hasn't been much change in your body, the first thing that comes to mind is "steroids" NO NO NO! Forget it!!!Why? Because you're doing something wrong that even steroids will not cure, the most anabolic substance you can put in your body is FOOD!But what food? Here i'm going to list 20 superfoods you can eat to burn fat and build soild muscle.
To build muscle & lose fat, you need a variety of proteins, veggies, fruits, carbs, and healthy fats. Eating Protein helps building & maintaining muscle. But it also helps fat loss: Protein has a higher thermic effect than carbs/fats.

Eating fats also helps fat loss: your body holds fat if you don’t eat fats. Fruits & veggies contain vitamins & minerals, necessary for recovery from your workouts. And carbs fuel your muscles so you feel full of energy at the gym.

Lots of you struggle to get these foods. Sometimes because you’re too busy or sometimes because you just lack information. This list will help you — 20 super foods you need to build muscle & lose fat.
Whole Eggs. Cheap & rich source of Protein: 7g/egg. The yolk contains most nutrients: half the Protein, vitamins A/D/E and cholesterol to naturally increase your testosterone levels.

Don’t worry about cholesterol in eggs. Dietary cholesterol isn’t bound to blood cholesterol. If you have bad cholesterol, lower your body fat rather than throwing the yolk away.

Fish oil. Reduces inflammation (joints/skin), lowers body fat and increases testosterone levels. You need 9000mg EPA/DHA per day. Since you’ll probably struggle to get that from eating fatty fish, consider a fish oil supplement.

Wild Salmon. One of the best sources of omega-3 fatty acids that also gets you 20g Protein per 100g serving. Farm raised salmon is, however, omega-3 deficient: it’s corn/grain fed. Go with wild salmon.

Berries. Strong antioxidants that prevent cancer, heart & eye diseases. Any kind works: cranberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, etc. Buy fresh or frozen berries and mix with oatmeal.

Yogurt. Contain bacteria that improve your gastrointestinal health. Don’t buy frozen yogurt or yogurt with added sugar and fruits at the bottom. Get plain low fat yogurt. Eat it with berries & flax seeds.

Flax Seeds. Source of fiber, Protein & omega-3. Grind the flax seeds to get the most out of them. Take 1 tbsp with yogurt & berries before going to bed. Stay away from flax oil: it’s unstable and contains no fiber.

Extra Virgin Olive oil. 70% monounsaturated fats that protect against heart diseases and cancer. Add 1-2 tbsp olive oil to your salads. Buy Extra Virgin Olive oil: it contains more polyphenols and tastes better.

Mixed Nuts. Contain mono- & polyunsaturated fats, proteins, fiber, vitamin E, zinc, potassium, magnesium, etc. Mixed nuts are caloric dense, great if you’re a skinny guy who wants to gain weight.

Anything works: almonds, walnuts, cashews, hazelnuts, … Peanut Butter also works as long as you buy natural Peanut Butter without added salts/sugars.

Red Meat. Protein, vitamin b12, heme iron, zinc, creatine, carnosine and even omega-3 if you eat grass-fed beef. Eat steaks & hamburgers from top round or sirloin. Read Dr. Lonnie Lowery’s article on Meat.

Broccoli. High in cancer-fighting phytochemicals and anti-estrogenic indoles. Broccoli is also high in soluble fiber and low calorie, helping fat loss. Eat other cruciferous vegetables for a change: cabbage, bok choy, cauliflower, kale, …

Spinach. One of the most alkaline foods. Spinach prevents muscle & bone loss, but also cancer and heart diseases because of its high nutrient profile. Try one of the spinach recipes I shared a while back.

Turkey. If you don’t believe saturated fat is good for you, try white turkey. The leanest beef has about 4.5g saturated fat/100g, while white turkey has close to 0g (that why it’s so dry). Eat turkey with spinach & quinoa.

Quinoa. South American “king of grains”. Quinoa is higher in fiber & Protein than rice or oats, tastes a lot better and is gluten free. Buy the whiter grain, it’s better quality. Eat it post workout with meat & spinach.

Oats. Reduce cholesterol, provide you with low-gi carbs for energy, and high in soluble fiber. Try this post workout shake of whey & oats.

Tomatoes. High in lycopene, which prevents cancer. The lycopene in tomato paste is 4 times more bioavailable than in fresh tomatoes. Have pizza or pasta with tomato sauce & olive oil post strength training.

Oranges. Vitamin C to fight diseases, magnesium to lower blood pressure, anti-oxidant beta-carotenes, etc. Quit drinking processed orange juice which often has added sugars. Eat oranges or make your own orange juice.

Apples. Pectin in apples helps weight loss by increasing satiety. Apples are also the strongest antioxidiant after cranberries (eat the peels). Unfortunately apples are one of the most pesticide-contaminated fruits. Go organic.

Carrots. Their huge vitamin A content improves eye-health, especially night vision. Carrots are also rich in fiber, low calorie and taste good, even raw.

water. Your body holds water if you don’t drink enough. Drinking prevents water retention, helps muscle recovery and prevents dehydration from strength training. Get a brita filter and drink 2 cups of water with each meal.

Green Tea. Strong antioxidant and natural diuretic. Green tea also speeds up fat loss, prevents cancer and improves blood sugar & circulation. Drink green tea in the morning instead of coffee. Real green tea, not the teabags.

Putting it All Together. Eat proteins, veggies, fruits & fats every 3 hours. 2 cups water with each meal. Carbs post workout only. Junk food 10% of the time. Get stronger in the meanwhile and you’ll build muscle

I want you to shop exclusively from this list...get whatever is on sale, you can still keep it cheap but it CANNOT be stuff made out of a box a processed crap, loaded with pointless cals etc

Thanks for the time man, you've been a tremendous help. I will focus on a great diet and will post results. I wasn't planning on roiding immediately, I was thinking like half a year from now, but hopefully I can forego that for a another 2 years or so.

Hell, I barely know how to buy on this site anymore since after the update

Wait till your at least 25 years old bro, you dont need gear right now... Thats all i have to say.. Good luck.

MidgetFerrigno's picture

OK, I accidently said "first time weighlifter" I meant to say "first time using gear weighlifter" I accidently a word or two.

MidgetFerrigno's picture

I screwed up my wording old sport. Sorry if I got you all flustered

jpal's picture

well first your too young and second you say first time weight lifter you should have a few years at least of training under your belt before even considering a cycle
god i am getting sick of these posts

MidgetFerrigno's picture

Not a first time weightlifter, been lifting for about 4 years. I said it would be my first time using gear

OmNom's picture

If you had to do one then I'd say yellow.. not positive you need aro from week one.. really no need for it test won't be full force in your system til week three.. Just seems like a few weeks of a wasted AI. UNLESS you got itchy nips early which is a bit rare in week one or two. You'd wanna see how you react to just the test and how much of an AI you'd need.. screw dbol for now. But yeah 22 is young and pushing it so I would tell you NO..

XvBeast's picture

lol never use Dbol for first cycle but for u , u should train for a few years first

MidgetFerrigno's picture

Have been training; I screwed up my wording.

Stats
Age: 22
Height: 6'... OK 5'11"
Weight: 185
BF:??

None

In my honest opinion, i don't think you're ready to start your first AAS cycle yet, since bodybuilding (assuming this is the sport you want to go into) is a lifestyle where progression is only seen through consistency and determination. If you had been training for a few years consistently, your diet was on point, your recovery was on point and you had reached your genetic potential, then i would recommend AAS and i would help you create a cycle layout, but since these factors aren't fulfilled you'll be wasting my time and more importantly your time trying to create something for which you have no foundation for.

Here's some more advice which i wrote up yesterday Pre-Cycle Protocol

I screwed up in my wording; see my edit. Haha thanks for looking out though.
