+ 2 Laying a good foundation for your cycle
This is what I've learned, I hope it helps.
One of the things that we talk about is that everybody’s body is different. We each react to chemical compounds in different ways. The same can be said of our minds. We each analyze and catalog information differently.
This can lead to problems. The first problem is that some of us (me), get so stuck on one idea that we start running before we’ve learned to walk. The second is that we (me) get so anxious to get started that we start before we’ve completed our plan, or without having the necessary compounds on hand.
In order to avoid this I’ve set up a protocol that I am (trying to) adhere to. It’s not a cycling protocol, but at management protocol.
Step 1
Diet and exercise. We know that the results you will see in any AAS cycle will be directly tied to how good your diet and routine are. If your diet is clean and correct and your workout regimen solid, then you will see great results. It will be much less, if any, without these two things being locked in. I do not start a cycle unless I’ve been 90 days 90% successful on my plan. That gives me a little wiggle room, but it also means I’m consistently working toward getting better.
Step 2
Research the compounds. Most of us ask questions in the open forums about our cycle plans, and while that is a great way to get opinions it can also lead to more confusion. Once you have gone through this phase, research each of the compounds and see if they are going to be adding the correct synergy to your cycle. NEVER USE COMPOUNDS THAT YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND! If you don’t know what a compound does and how it works, then don’t use it.
Step 3
Ask for cycle advice from someone you respect, privately. I love the forums, but when it’s time to crack down and make a decision I’d prefer to talk one on one with one of the gurus here. They may ask you questions about why you have decided to run a certain compound, but then again they may not. In my most recent experience the reply was “Looks good for me bro...” It was all I needed. It told me I hadn’t made any critical errors.
Step 4
Shopping! This is where I get excited, it’s a good thing I can’t go into Wal-Mart and buy gear. I’d end up walking out with one of everything… of course with Wal-Mart at least I’d be able to return it.
When I do my orders, first I buy my AI, then I buy all my PCT gear. I don’t buy the fun stuff till last. Even then, usually I can’t afford to buy the whole cycles worth at once. So my rule is not to start my cycle until I have at least 50% of my AAS on hand.
I hope that this was helpful to someone, I know it’s made my experiences much better.

beavisYep, I was the same way at first, I am the same way as you explain here except I take the credit card out and buy 500$ in groceries and another 3 on ancillaries.
So hopefully you're re-writing the cycle log?
CleyonJust did... I hate you all... ;-)
CleyonYou don't like my cycle? I don't plan on changing it, but tell me why.
Two thumbs up!!!!
I like step 4...go shopping for one thing and come out with four or five others..GUILTY!
CleyonEspecially when suppliers give you free shipping over a certain dollar amount. I wish I was smart enough to avoid the temptation. I was on one site about to check out and my Mrs. walked up and saw what was in there. I got a healthy reality check that night.
Solid core principals bro. I like it
Good post... should be read by everyone contemplating running a first/second/third cycle imo... i think what cleyon is trying to put across here is to have a safe/secure feeling about what you have finally decided to do to your body instead of running in blindly and making a million mistakes along the way! then having to start at the beginning all over again with little or no gain for your attempts.
+3 from me bro...good info.
CleyonThanks bro, I wish I hadn't learned this the hard way. But you know what they say, what doesn't kill me makes me poorer.
But bigger and happier lol.....
Kickass cycles cost $$$ bro unfortunatly.
CleyonWhich is why I've found that planning is important! This next cycle will be the first one where I've 100% followed the advice above, and I suspect it's going to be a revelation.
good write up bro, and good luck on that cycle i see you posted.. looked hard core
HARDCORE is how we roll brother lmao!
CleyonJust trying to bark with the big dogs! Woof Woof!
Time, patience, commitmant, focus, drive, work ethic, and excellent planning time and time over is the magic wand in this game bro! AAS is like a good salad dressing it just makes all the ingredients ZING!
CleyonWell, you just summed up my documentary! No such thing as a magic pill.
Wish there was brother! if that was the case i wouldnt have to leave enough sweat and tears on gym floors to fill a swimming pool lmao!
Also i should have shares in tupperware... must have used and busted a million of them boxes over the years... were i go food always comes with me no matter what... would rather miss a training session than a meal... thats where its at!
CleyonAs I sit here at my desk looking at four empty tupperware containers and there is one still in the refrigerator! Eight meals a day BABY! Once my diet got locked in it made a huge difference in my gains. Amazing that I can eat so much and watch the fat fall off. Speaking of which, I might just post a picture of that, just as important as gym pics.
zewitupperware---need to come up with workout tupperware.. Strong better and easy to clean. And microwave friendly.
lmao! yeah something like a G-Shock watch ... i hate it when all the edges start to splinter.
zewii have a magic pill.. its my brain.. ha ha
CleyonBingo! Without that compound you can't win.
