full-on noob here looking for 1st cycle advice

ad

The set-up:
This is my first cycle and I'm not a bodybuilder - into functional fitness (bodybuilding is great - you guys look awesome but I just don't have the genes for it and I'd be pissing into the wind to even try it). What I'm looking for are some strength gains that will last past the end of the cycle and some cut. Way more important to me to improve strength to weight ratio than LBM. stats for me are 41 yo 5-11 170lbs BMI Who knows, who cares, but can't quite see the six pack. I've got a nagging shoulder injury from a motorcycle wreck, detached my pec, delt, and bicep on the right side when I shattered my humorus.

The questions:
1. Thinking 40 a day var or t-bol for 6 wks. What is the PCT protocol for this type of cycle? Can I just taper it off and call it good?
2. I've got a nagging shoulder injury from a motorcycle wreck, detached my pec, delt, and bicep on the right side when I shattered my humorus. I'm a little concerned that too-rapid strength gains might increase the chance of tearing one of those muscles off the bone. Anyway, I was thinking 24 wks of HGH at 4IU/day would help me with that issue. Both my guys sell hygetropin. Any thoughts or experiences with the stuff? I think I know where to get some stuff called kigtropin also, but I've never heard of it anywhere else. Is it brewed in a bathtub or hot water heater?
3. Most importantly: Diet - Stuffing extra calories is no problem, but not gonna eat 3500 kcal of greens, know what I mean? Life's too short. I eat mostly meat, fruit, nuts, protein powder, etc. minimal grains, potatoes, or vegetables except I chug 16 oz of Lakewood Organic Super Veggie every day, and eat a spinach salad 2-3 times a week and of course a very good multivitamin. What diet changes do I need to make to get the most out of the gear?
4. I don't mind putting in the work. What kind of results would one see on a deal like this?

Thanks for any advice!

I strongly agree with hilwdbdboy - go Test E/Test C first cycle and consider another AAS that boosts red blood cell production like equipoise (will help endurance) or for strength (androgen like masteron). Don't believe the BS you read - you will feel great on Test, with minimal smart management (anastrozole and hcg 2x per week at 250 iu) and a reasonable PCT, you will keep your gains. After the first pin you will be fine with it and will look back and laugh at the concern...that's how I felt anyway.

I am a big fan of HGH. I would start lower dose and scale up though or you will get sides - tingling, joint pain, etc.

Anavar you will keep the gains but at around 5-6 weeks it will likely shutdown your own HPTA and you will get sides like a limp dick. You need to run an androgen if you plan to run an anabolic like 'var.

Good luck let us know what you do.

X2 oral only cycles will not only destroy your liver but you will lose 90% of your gains when you come off. The way I see it now is do cycles and pct properly or don't do AAS at all.

P.S. Always protect that liver boys!!!

I hear ya on the liver part. I'm personally not planning to stack two orals. RE: test - to be honest, it scares me a little. Between the needle, the shriveling nuts, gyno, acne, shutdown - yikes! Maybe I'm blowing all of these risks out of proportion, but it sounds like var (and to some extent t-bol) don't mess with the body's testosterone production as bad as straight test and don't have the other sides from andro conversion. The downside, as you say, is potential liver issues since it's an oral. Is there an effective on-cycle means of protecting the liver? (would you call that OCT?) Regarding losing 90% of gains, what is the mechanism behind that? I don't want to argue with experience, but it is contrary to what I've read about anavar. Thanks for your help and insight.
