Does time between cycles differ with low doses?
ad
I am coming off of a 4 month cycle of test cypionate. I'm 30, 6'4" and have been in the 205-220lb range (8-10%fat) and before the cycle my test levels were spot on to the mid range average. I have not had them tested again yet and am currently running my PCT. my question is, do I need to wait 5-6 months before I start again or can I decrease the wait time since I was only running about 200-300mg/week at the peak? Thanks in advance for the feedback!

Good advice would be yes you need to wait. Time on including pct = time off. Blood work is best but even if you've normalized your blood levels you should still give your entire body enough time to recoupe. Also because of my advice and others below doesn't mean that you should go out and run high doses because you are going to have to be off the same amount of time anyways. Slow and steady my brutha wins the race!
Thanks for the advice bro! Makes sense and that's what I was looking for. I will most likely wait until about May before I start up again if I even start again. Honestly I play a lot of basketball and as soon as I stopped my cycle my knees started to feel better, so I might just wait until I'm older and really need it anyways. Thanks again.
Your making the right decision bro and I really appreciate the level headedness of your response.... +1
On a side note: There's nothing wrong with a little cockyness as long as it doesn't cross over to disrespect. I think you'll be alright
On another side note Lol: I have to take glucosamine chondroitin when I juice because the AI dries out my joints
Yeah I have tried that for my knees but nothing seems to help. Honestly, it's going to be inevitable considering how long I have played and how often. I also think that the extra push it have me just made them work a little harder than they were used to. But then again, maybe I wasn't taking enough of the glucosamine... How much do you take?
4500 mg split in 3 doses a day
Bro, time on + pct = time off. Now, that is the site collective view. The thinking is to allow your body to heal and start producing it's own Test again so that you can continue to cycle for years to come and not place yourself in danger of becoming a TRT patient, like I am. I didn't take enough time off. I was impatient and at 25, my body stopped producing testosterone. I don't have to be a rocket scientist to know by reading your question and how it's worded to know that you really want us to tell you that you can start another cycle early because you were on a low dose - or because of this - or in consideration of that. You want validation. I'm not going to give it to you. Now GWOP is right, the lab test is conclusive as to whether you have healed or not. But, you can read the lab report as well and come up with reasons to ignore its findings and on and on . . .
I appreciate you taking the time to give feedback. That being said, it's interesting that you think that I need an online stranger to validate some deep desire I have to start back up again. I think you need to leave you're assumptions and biases out of the responses and also, just because you would have been thinking that, doesn't mean I am. It's a simple question of does someone taking 800mg/week need to approach this the same way as someone who's been at 200mg/week. Trust me, I have no interest in ending up like you requiring TRT
Hi bro,
I can see that I have hit a nerve.
Your response to my response speaks volumes actually.
I applaud your common sense in wishing to avoid TRT which is where your deep desire to start up again could possibly lead you and I'm giving you a +1 for common sense!
My time is valuable and thank you for recognizing that fact.
And finally, telling me how I should express my opinions which is all any of us has really shows you have a nice sense of humor. Thanks for making me smile! Also, we don't neg each other when we disagree, just FYI.
Kindest regards,
"Online Stranger"
Question:
"...do I need to wait 5-6 months before I start again or can I decrease the wait time...?"
Answer:
"I don't have to be a rocket scientist to know by reading your question and how it's worded to know that you really want us to tell you that you can start another cycle early because you were on a low dose - or because of this - or in consideration of that. You want validation. I'm not going to give it to you."
Response:
WTF?! Lol...?
You didn't hit a nerve, you're just telling me that I "want you to tell me to use sooner" and that I "want your validation" but you "aren't going to give it to me"... Get over yourself... I asked a question, a legitimate one, and you took the time to tell me all the things I want (none of which I actually want). So smile all you want, but who's speaking more volumes? The guy who's not answering the questions and telling the one who posted their true intentions behind the question... Or the guy asking for helpful information? Just move on, because you have no advice of information, just assumptions.
Gee, bro. You write a lot.
IMHO, low doses does not absolve u of the standard time off . . .
No need to get defensive bro. He's just throwing that out there as a potential reason. Don't jump on the people trying to help you make good choices. What you do is extract the useful information and if the rest do not apply to you then leave it be. You came to the right place and asked a good question. I'm sure you will get a lot of different perspectives but most here are trying to help keep you safe.....
And I understand that, but I'm sure that of you sent your answer like you did (which was very useful information) and my response to your answer was along the lines of "thanks NewChapter, but I don't need to be a rocket scientist to see that you're just telling me this stuff because you want me to look up to you and want me to be praising you - which I wil not do.... Blah blah blah". You'd probably just read it and be thinking "wtf?"
