Bridge / Off Cycle

ad

I'm looking to try something a bit new.. a bridge/off cycle (one that is minimally suppressive).

Stats:
6'2
198 lbs
Roughly 11-13% BF
Training for the last 5-6 years consistently
Have done 2 previous cycles, test e/dbol, and test prop/dbol

Thinking of running some peptides (mod grf 1-29 and ghrp-2), along with 20-30mg anavar ed, 25mg proviron, and possibly 10mg dbol first thing in the morning.

Primary goals are to lose some fat while gaining a little bit of muscle. With this approach not sure if I should eat under maintenance, over maintenance, or at maintenance calories to reach those goals. Not sure how strong the fat burning effects are from the peptides (as this is my first time using them) however, I do have a very high metabolism so that's why I'm unsure of where my caloric intake should be?

*Remember this is ideally a bridge/off cycle for me so I want it to be "minimally" suppressive. From my research I understand anavar along with proviron will not cause much shutdown of the hpta.. especially at such low doses I will be running.. what do you guys think about the addition on dbol 10mg first thing in the morning? Or will this cause too much shutdown for an off-cycle period?

First forum posted.lol so be gentle. Please let me know if you guys have any questions, looking forward to all your responses. Thanks!

I think that many people who bridge/cruise don't realize they are actually SLOWING down their progress. Doesn't matter if its steroids, recreational drugs or really any substance, your body builds up a tolerance... the longer your ON, the higher dose your gonna need to have the same effect...

Your body NEEDS a BREAK... And thats how you maximize your gains, with proper recovery in between your cycles. This may sound harsh but bridgeing is just an excuse for being a drug addict...

I would say just don't play around with any chemicals between cycles, but I'm in no position to convict you of wrongdoing. I played around with "bridges" and other things similar to what you are proposing instead of clean PCTs and times off and I ended up on hormone replacement (permanent shutdown) and eventually became sterile as well. When I look back, the truth was I really wanted to just stay on something, I just could not admit it to myself and suffered the consequences.

It's always nice to have people with personal experience reply. Thanks for sharing your story.. all these posts have definitely made me re-think some of my decisions.

It's not easy bro. I think we all have that little voice telling us "It couldn't happen to me." I know I did. Then, if and when it turns for the worse, there's nothing you can do. It's too late.

So it sounds like I'm good to go on the peptides.. I'll just save the anavar/proviron for an addition to my next cycle

You "forgot" to list your age in your stats.

I just noticed that too.. whoops! I'm 25

Okay. So here's my answer.... NO. Why potentially fuck up your body to hold onto some muscle between cycles. Who cares if you drop a few pounds. It's not that important. Health, family, career are way more important. Steroids aren't physically addictive but they are certainly mentally addictive. Don't let them control you. Give your body a break and do it right. Your future kids will thank you.

Isn't that the truth. Especially to us younger kids, who can become addicited to the mentality of getting big, getting the compliments, the attention, etc etc.

Hey thanks for an honest response man, are you saying no to the peptides/anavar/proviron.. or no to adding the dbol?

Peptides yes, orals no, not any of them they all suppress. Ostarine is an awesome bridge and not suppressive.

Hey humnpump - I am shocked that I have not heard of SARMS before. Honestly, I think I just thought SARMS were referring to SERMS in the past. Anyway, I recently did a Sust/EQ cycle and I was researching and started looking into SARMS. Yesterday I ordered 2 months worth of Ostarine, LGD-4033, and GW 50516. Anyway, excited to check them out and would love any input. FYI I play high level rugby. These compounds basically looked perfect for my sport.
Cheers

That's a bummer.. it's a shame all these websites out there claim var and proviron won't cause shutdown, if when in fact they do. Appreciate the reply tho

Var is probably the worst option out of all orals it has an 11 hour half life. There is so much misinformation out on the internet you really have to be careful with your research.

Thanks for the heads up man, I'm saving var and everything for my next cycle when shutdown will be expected

There are plenty of internet idiots out there. Anyone who claims that var and other orals won't shut them down are simply misinformed or lying to themselves to be "on", regardless of the consequences.

If you want to keep your gains between cycles, then quit thinking that drugs are the key. DIET is the key on and off cycle. Simple as that.

Thanks for the advice.. I'm just gunna use the peptides and save the anavar/proviron for an addition to my next cycle

No to everything if you want to do it right. It's a time to give your body a break from everything and let it get back to normal.

This is true.. definitely something I need to think about. Thanks again
