Advise on cuts and bulks during cycle

ad

Hey people! Just want to say I have learnt quite abit from you guys so far and want to say thank you and hopefully if I keep learning one day I can contribute also! I am planning to do a cycle at the moment but I am unfamiliar with how to train on gear so hopefully some knowledgeable people here can help me out! lol

Ill try and keep it all brief but ill give you a little info about myself.

Height = 6 ft
Weight = 87kg
BF% = 13%
Years training seriously = 5
Cycle history = One Anavar cycle at 60mg when I was 23 and stupid lol

So at the moment I would like to do a cycle and my goals would be to pick my weak points up a little ( calves, biceps, triceps) gain strength and lose some fat. The course I have settled on was advised to somebody with similar goals to mine and is like this:

Test 250x2 week 1-12
var 70mg ed week 8-13
HCG 250iux2 week 1-13
AI week 1-13

PCT 15-19 (not decided dose yet but will be clomid and nolvadex)

I also work as a teacher and cant really have people clocking on im on gear which is why I was thinking about splitting the cycle into a cut and a bulk with the cut being the first 4 weeks and then bulk when test is kicking in? Would this make the gains less obvious?

Also I was thinking of laying the routine out like : Legs strength/Upper strength/Legs+Weak points hyper/Rest/Repeat and my calories were going to be around 2500 for the cut part and 3000-3500 for the lean bulk all low carb and high protien.

I was hoping if I get alot of mass on my lower body it wouldn't look so obvious but im not sure if im looking at this all wrong?

If anybody has any input it would be greatly appreciated.

So tired of seeing these shit storms. Is it too much to ask of new OPs to have an open mind?

Dickkhead's picture

Oh not this again with the lean bulk bull crap and the single cycle bulk and cut utter bull shit. I just can't deal. I feel a migraine coming on.

im not sure if im looking at this all wrong?

Yeah, totally wrong. Pay close attention to the bros below. They got you covered.

BTW, you lost height and gained weight between your profile of 6' 2" and 183 lbs. and your post. We don't like that bro. Not at all. The profile is typically the right number before the new member has time to learn about what kind of muscle base is required to use steroids and jacks up his numbers. At 6' 2" 183 lbs. you are NOT a candidate for steroids. I will happily along with others work on your diet and training but gear? gtfo

Pasta explained it below.

I've been a competitive bodybuilder for 13 years and I have a lot of trophies. I've never seen anybody in the sport put on muscle while losing fat. Never. I don't believe it happens all the time in other sports. If that were the case it would be done routinely in bodybuilding as well and it is not.

Dickkhead's picture

Maybe this will help. I'm desperately trying not to get sucked into writhing "The Lean Bulking and Recomp Myth" post. I don't have the time for it at the moment.

https://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/spinning-your-wheels

But, it should make sense to you, than in bodybuilding, among all sports where it is about physique competition, that if we could bulk and only add clean dry muscle mass or if we could add clean dry muscle mass and at the same time cut up, dang, bro, everybody would do that. Why bulk and cut? It is so inefficient as opposed to your lean bulk and recomp idea.

Dickkhead's picture

Seems like folk want desperately to believe it can be done and will try again and again to make it happen till they finally give up in frustration. The top bodybuilders all look soft and smooth as many of them bulk way past 300 lbs. when they are not competing, I think if they could all stay lean (including myself) we all would certainly. I actually hit 305 lbs. on my bulk earlier this year.

Yeah no problem if im wrong but I really want to know details

Look bud, no one is gonna write a novel here to spoon feed you customized detailed answers to your questions. There is more than enough info in the archives of the site for you to gain an understanding. Use the search bar magnifying glass on the top navigation bar of the site.

Do you know what I notice? GH mentioned your change in height and weight and you just simply side stepped it.

WHY is your height and weight so different between here and your profile? You've shrunk 2 inches and gained 4kgs.

Guess what? I don't believe you. I suspect I'm not the only one either.

Catalyst's picture

lol side stepped is different to ignoring and I ignored it because it doest matter if you believe me lol me and my brother and researching thinking of doing similar things and I couldt be arsed....... Blah blah

And I and the community are telling you it does matter if you supply correct and honest information. We get kids here lying about there age, stats etc so we have to be careful. You, as someone involved in education should be able to understand that.

Then there's your next two paragraphs. Not sure why you think that's relevant to me? I haven't been involved in that dialogue have I? Like this nonsense:

"Not going to take your word for it"

OK, what "word" is that then? I can't see it anywhere. I've no intention of explaining anything to you unless you take the time to provide correct information, but you "couldn't be arsed" as you so eloquently put it. Like you, I chose to "ignore" your question until I'm satisfied.

-2, largely for wasting my time reading something that was completely irrelevant. You want to argue with people, at least direct your insults at the people involved.

Catalyst may or may not bother to respond to this but seriously bro, quit while you are ahead. Cat is the Chief Scientist in pharmaceutical research at the pharma company where he works. He holds a PhD. in one of the biological sciences and I think is also a Mensa card holder. He is a competitive bodybuilder and most certainly is a freaky mass monster. He prolly has forgotten more about the action and application of anabolic steroids than most of us will ever know.

No one here is going to write a research synopsis for you in response to questions in a post in this section of the website and moreover certainly not when the answers to your questions can be found in the website archives.

Cycle history = One Anavar cycle at 60mg when I was 23 and stupid lol (from the post)
If im honest I wanted just to use Anavar to gain strength on a cut (from his response to me)

So the OP wants to cut from 183 lbs.on an oral only cycle? But, he is now learning that AAS users don't run oral only cycles.

Cut from 183 lbs.? Cut to what I wonder? Skeletor (but Skeletor has way too much in the way of a muscle base).

The Impastable's picture

I thought the AI would mean Id get very little water gain? and ok im still a little confused as I dont mean at the same time Im saying weeks of a calorie deficit then when I add calories by body will switch to an muscle building state and if I have extra test in my body I can take advantage of that? Why wouldt I gain muscle after a cut physiologically whats different from normal other than higher test and anvar in the system?

Everybody reacts differently to this. The ai will limit water gain, but it won't be the drastic limit you're looking for. Use too much ai, crash your estrogen and your gains will come to a dead halt.

So start on at maintenance calories and gain the strength I want and a little muscle then kick up a notch after 5 weeks and I should have dropped a % then adding calories to surplus should mean id gain further strength and some muscle where I want and with proper pct I can keep this no?

No. If this worked pro BBers would've perfected this art, take a look at some of them off season. Does that look like a lean physique to you? The amount of time it takes for your body to adjust to a new higher maintenance state with the added muscle and mass is a lot longer than what you a lot for in 12 weeks. Your body will be fighting to rid the new muscle and mass, which is why you see gains disappear in PCTphases.

Thats whats been explained and PCT and stuff I have looked into maintaining my gains and ill be going from bulk to bulk so not back to cutting straight away. This is what i was thinking if there is anything wrong please tell me specifically is the reason or ill have no clue why im doing things.

Do a nice, proper bulk, not worrying about fat or water gain.

But you don't need AAS to accomplish your goals and your stats don't warrant the use. post up your diet in Catalysts diet thread and they will square you away there.

The Impastable's picture

You can limit fat gain to some degree, but you cannot prevent fat gain or water gain on a bulk. Lean bulking implies you can. Go all out bulk and worry later.

You can't bulk and cut on the same cycle because it goes against your bodies equilibrium state. When you're bulking you're trying to set a new equilibrium state at a higher weight and size than you are now, which takes weeks/months. By subsequently cutting after a bulk, you're basically going back to where you started.

If you don't want to be a huge bodybuilder than steroids aren't for you.

Somebody say buffet?? I could eat if your buying

Owes a Review × 1
The Impastable's picture

Count me in! I reckon the buffet is going out of business once were done...

The Impastable's picture

You need to eat more, not turn to AAS. Your stats don't warrant it's usage.

You also cannot bulk and cut in the same cycle. There's no such thing as lean bulking either.
