Enclomiphene vs HCG

ad

Hey all,

My TRT doc has told me the company that produced my
HCG is no longer producing it.
He told me that my second best option would be either pregnenolone or Enclomiphene.
I think I do like the idea of just taking a pill and not having to pin or mix the HCG.
I wanted to get some thoughts on The subject and anyone who has use Eclomiphene. Does it work exactly like HCG?

Just get some HCG from a source.. I used to be prescribed HCG and to take it out of your protocol may be unnecessary.. imo.

To answer your question...I've never used Enclomiphene but have used clomid in the past. If you have used clomid and have gotten it's good effects then that's what enclomiphene will do for you, it's the good isomer half of clomid without the negative side effects. Very hard to find. The short of the long is HCG sends a false LH signal to testicles resulting in more test but clomid is a weak anti- estrogen that actually causes the HTPA to kick in test production. I feel horrible and emotional on clomid. You're looking for a specific answer that you probably won't get because this stuff is so rare.

NYBX01's picture

Ahhh, I see brother.
Yeah, have run Clomid several times before but it’s been yrs. I remember when I did run it when I was still jumping off test it really didn’t affect me in the sense of sides.
It would definitely take a while for my natural test to bounce back and the testies to be full again. I didn’t yo find it to be that beneficial honestly. Basically I wasn’t a fan,

dwayne44's picture

Yeah I'm no fan of clomid myself. I have alot that's why I'll use it. Basically if you didn't like clomid without the sides, you wouldn't like enclomiphene

Are you on Testosterone already? I take pregnenolone and DHEA because my Endo won't prescribe HCG. After being on TRT for awhile those levels drop. Mine for DHEA was 0 same for preg. So if he does get preg for you look into DHEA if on TRT

NYBX01's picture

Yup, on TRT… the decision would be mine wether to go with the PREG or Endo.
Like originally said I like the idea of not having to mix and pin.
Im already a pin cushion when on cycle …lol

Tricepatops's picture

HCG is so much better though as it keeps your DHEA and Pregnenolone levels from tanking. After awhile on TRT I didn't get the feeling I first had when I started and it was because my Levels of those 2 hormones were nill.

Gotcha, I haven’t completely opted out of using the HCG but the Endo peaked my curiosity being that my clinic doc said it’s just as good as HCG without the hassle.
We’ll see, if I have to jump back on it via 3rd party then it is what it is Smile

Well your gonna have some problems locating REAL enclomiphene, alot of places that sell enclo are just selling clomid labeled enclomiphene. There is no pharmaceutical enclomiphene in the USA. And alot of people have bad side effects when taking clomid. You can try clomid if you want and if it works for you without bad sides good for you. But if you care that much about running hcg why don't you just buy it, hcg is cheap and nobody is really selling fake hcg.

You’re correct, but this reeks of a kickback deal with a compounding pharmacy just to bill more. The US guidelines suggest clomiphene citrate then HcG, usually only for fertility purposes. I recommend OP stock up on anything the doc is prescribing. Compound and clomiphene or not it’s going to be legitimate farm green in Columbia just gonna cost an arm and a leg and perhaps a fight with insurance. HCG is less likely to be covered by insurance to begin with but is unquestionably cheaper and takes very little argument from your provider for the justification.

Actually, there is a fair amount of fake hcg about, in the UK that is. I recently purchased some multipharm pregnyl hcg which turned out to be fake. It didn't pass the verification process on their website and also came back as negative on a pregnancy test.
To be fair though, the source in question has agreed to a refund.

NYBX01's picture

Gotcha but I don’t think my Doc would get fake Endo if he suggested it. Apparently there is a lab that makes it in the USA.
I honestly would go the Endo route due to not having to mix or pin.
As my original post I wanted to know how the Endo is for those that have used it before. Thanks for the feedback bro

Your doctor’s almost certainly mentioning a compound pharmacy that would make the substance for you because as commentators have noticed there’s no brand-name income of him floating around the US these days. The reason is less that enclomiphene will have better results with less sides. It barely made it to the comparison with tamoxifen and FDA trials there’s just no money in it. For me the biggest thing for clone is watch out for the visual issues and the permanent damage because. But that was just my experience but I’ve tried both and enclomiphene is approximately slightly better at accomplishing what it needs with the lab values for FSH and all that stuff you’re looking for, but not to a reasonably degrees to try a new substance for no reason. HCG appropriately dust is the most effective remedy. At least when I took them both- enclomiphene and the clomiphene citrate i found to be mysteriously similar.

Where both were more or less as effective, clomid carried more sides. I was more depressed and had some sort of pressure or visual issue on enclo. But only for that reason I don’t tolerate either one

Thanks for the breakdown and taking the time.
I’m on the Enclo now and honestly don’t find that it’s as effective as HCG, I don’t feel it’s even doing anything at all. No sides as yet, it’s the end if my second week on it. Yes it’s definitely a compound company that my TRT clinic gets it from. I’m hoping it’s legit, I mean all there other products are g2g so far.

FlemDaddyKush's picture

Your doctor is mistaken then cuz their is no enclomiphene is the USA. Only clomid.

NYBX01's picture

I have noticed that some of these docs are so off with there advise. I remember my first clinic doc recommended for me to be on TRT 50 mg a week. That basically did absolutely nothing lol

Yukon Jack's picture

Yeah u can get Pharma hcg for $40-50 5,000ius!
I don’t understand why not just buy some?

I haven’t completely opted out of not buying 3rd party dude.
My gosh all I want to know is how effective the Endo is for those who have used ir.
What I don’t understand is why is it that people comment without fully grasping what has been asked.

I've used enclomiphene citrate 25mg for about a year. It's an estrogen receptor antagonist not a LH mimic like HCG. If you're on TRT it won't do the same thing as HCG (keep your testicles working and full-size).

I would use enclompiphene for PCT if you want it for that -- to stimulate the HPTA axis. I personally used it an additional defense against estrogenic sides once per week while on TRT.

I can't tell you exactly how it works, as there's a lot I don't know, but enclomiphene relies on stimulation of the HP (of the HPTA) by your body, HCG I believe directly works on the T (of the HPTA). IIRC.

NYBX01's picture

Thanks for the feedback brother.
I’m on Enclo now, Only 2nd week on so far and feel
HCG is so much better man.

NYBX01's picture

Thanks for the info. I’ll probably switch over to Pregnyl vs the HCG
Curious, If you’ve experienced any sides on the Enclo?

FlemDaddyKush's picture

Well for most people that are on doctor prescribed trt the pharmacies like stopped carrying hcg and are trying to switch everybody to clomid. So people have to pick either pharmacy clomid or ugl hcg. But ugl hcg is perfectly fine.

NYBX01's picture

Agreed, UGL HCG is fine but depending what source/ brand your using ;)

Rustyhooker's picture

How bout simple testosterone.....? Sounds like clinic?

NYBX01's picture

Rust, I’m on TRT…
yeah, clinic doc suggested the Endo or PREG.
Told the the benefits of the Endo is no pinning and mixing. So I’m interested in it. Tired of the HCG process brother but will do what I have to do to keep the boys full.

dwayne44's picture

I kinda answered you up top but maybe not fully. Enclomiphene is clomid without the negative sides. It's an isomer of clomid. Works by same pathway

NYBX01's picture

Thanks for the clarity bro!

Rustyhooker's picture

I hear ya! Folks think trt is fun til its pins nonstop
