Will EQ help heal a "small" distal biceps tendon tear?

ad

Well, it finally happened. I reached down to pick up a light barbell that someone had left on the preacher curl bench to remove it and put it back in the rack when I heard a popping sound and felt something like rubber bands snapping in my left forearm.

MRI shows distal biceps tendon tear. Maybe 12-15% tear - hard to know from the pictures. Doc first said put it in a sling for 4 weeks and do nothing then calls me back and says - on second thought we think we should cut.

Yikes! Cut? Bolt or screw it down on the bone? It will never heal on its own? Does this make any sense to you guys? Anyone have a distal biceps tendon tear?

I'm on 600 mg/wk of EQ and 1g/wk of test. I have always been taught that both Deca and EQ will aid in healing tendons. Slowly, but definitely.

The injury is 3 weeks old. The arm is getting stronger every week. Couldn't curl a 20lb dumbbell when it happened without agony. Now I can curl the 60s with just a little discomfort including doing a hammer curl that I shouldn't be able to do.

Does EQ work for this? Do tendons not heal without surgical reattachment?

I tore my distal last month just had the surgery, The pain is not an issue you can not do shit with the hand is so stiff I can not even rotate my wrist. this is how they fixed mine http://www.arthrex.com/elbow/distal-biceps-rupture

my advise is do everything low dose and increase you calorie intake by eating clean food. I put myself on a 200 mg Deca and 200 mg of test-c that's all take for now every 10-12 days. I eat lots of fish salmon and drink lots of milk and eat dairy. I also eat 20 egg whites through out the day.

can not wait to go back to normal life

Yes, tendons heal without surgical reattachment. And, Abaddon is correct, especially the current research that supports Thymosin and IGF-1. Also, it sounds like you are healing fast. There is also TENS/STIM units that can be a modality for treatment.

EQ and deca just lube joints and mask issues. If you need something for actual joint repair look into IGF and tb500.
