Why Did I gain 30 lbs On My First Cycle of Just Test, But Only Gained 7 Lbs on Second Cycle of Test and Deca?

ad

First cycle I did which was just 500mg test, I put on 30 lbs and kept all of it post cycle, even adding a few lbs post cycle in between the time I started my 2nd cycle. My 2nd cycle I ran 500mg test and 250mg deca and I only gained 7 lbs in 12 weeks, despite eating just as much if not more food than I did on my first cycle. I was stuffing my face with taco bell, pizza, etc because the deca made me super hungry, and only went up 7 lbs. Yes it was quality 7 lbs, but nothing compared to the 30 lbs of muscle I gained on my first cycle. I literally looked like a different person from before my first cycle to after my first cycle. But now I look more or less the same as before my 2nd cycle.

Diet. You say you eat pretty much the same as on your first cycle, maybe a little more. Well on your first cycle you started off 30lbs lighter than on your second. It took more calories to maintain that extra 30lb of weight so since you only ate a little more you only gained a little more weight. Adding deca doesn't mean anything, juice doesn't make you gain muscle calories do. Deca and test are just tools to help the workout, food, and rest do what they do. Your diet was off. Your larger frame needs more food now than before if you want to make gains. It's that simple.

30 extra pounds is going to require a lot more cals to maintain now, and then you want to gain more weight on top of that which is going to require even more. Sounds to me like you weren't eating enough and what you were eating was junk.

Haven't done a cycle since the one I finished January 2013 because I realized I was wasting time without my diet being in check. I just now, over 3 years later at 37 years old, feel like my diet is on point.

diet is the key for sure and is the most difficult commitment and time consuming aspect of the lifestyle. all shit talking aside, it's sad that it's so common for people to attempt to over compensate for inadequate nutrition with drugs.

no prolactin sides, huh? show the blood work to back it up. my guess is you didn't get it done. people who skimp on things like blood work usually are skimping on other areas of the cycle and lifestyle too.

26 and already jumping into 19-nors..... smfh

I had no prolactin side effects. Never got deca dick once, never lactated.

you make some decent points here. the only thing I would add is before he even considers running another cycle is he needs to track and hit all nutrient requirements for his goals for a minimum of a year straight after he finishes his pct. this will help him build the consistency and dedication to actual reap the benefit's of running cycles. not to mention at his age, if he follows this he will only add more decent mass to his base without drugs.
