weird quad pain and swelling after Test Cyp injection?

First cycle, first pin ever.
200mg of test cyp 23g 1.5" syringe. I Injected into the upper outside of my quad. As far as the injection it was easy as pie. That was thursday night. Sat all day my leg was pretty painful and sunday/ monday i can barely walk on it. The weird part is its not swollen at all near the injection site, but about a inch above my knee. Slightly red, warm to the touch. anyone have some insight on this?

Side note, i also hit quads harder than i ever have before, on friday night. was already a little sore before going to bed in the area where its completely swollen now.
RustyhookerProbably virgin muscles. If swelling gets worse, pain of fever get to er. Hotpack if possible. Check your gear label or brewer. Some add ethyl oleate which some folks have issues with. Virgin muscles get easier after few pins. Benadryl before bed if any allergy appears...itchy, red can be allergy as well.
Not really any flu symptoms, no fever or chills as far as i can tell but i dont have a thermometer. I mild headache here or there but that could be cause im cutting. Its 250mg/ml. injected about .8-.9ml was pretty nervous about first injection, wanted to do a little less.I only went about 1.1 inches in as well. I did forget to aspirate, that wont happen again. My anxiety was through the roof for an hour afterwards. I went a little high because of the way my leg rested while sitting down, might have hit the Rectus femoris instead of the lateralis.
You should never use a 1.5 and try to only go in 1 inch. Then you asperiate to make sure the not in a vein and you start injecting and you can't expect the keep that needle perfect in place it's gonna move around. Them you move down the slightest bit and your in a vein. It coould very easily happen. Get the right size pins. 1 inch for quads 1.5 for glutes. You should know this if you did your homework.

Sounds like virgin muscle and aggrovated lymph. Any flu symptoms? Fever? Chills? What was your pin procedure? Dose? Mg strength?
