Virus on sources pages

Lately, my anti-virus program is blocking me from going to alot of the top sources on heres webpages. I'm not going to name any names, but its more than one, and i was just wondering what you guys think about it. It makes me entirely weary of the sites, but i was just wondering if anyone else on here is seeing this problem when going to someof the sites off some of the top sources on here. any info is appreciated.

i ran into this problem myself going on the body synth. site avast will give you problems cos of the server location,and as far as tor goes,u can be linked if you where to be on tor and come here and open pages,if you go to the torproject page you will see theres alot of stuff you should and shouldnt do.dont just assume cos your on tor that your 100% safe.

It is the server location that your software has an issue with. If your source is smart and security minded then their server is located off shore in a country which does not cooperate with Law enforcement.
that is inacurate for sure. since you are a source i decided to test this out by looking up the location of your server, in lithuania, your website does NOT appear to have anything malicious on it, however when i tried another source that was malicious, and it was located in the exact same place, so the location, doesnt have anything to do with it. I also know this because i have a friend that runs on of those porn tube sites, and it doesnt get flagged as malicious and it's server is also located in the same country as your server. so this cannot be the case.
I beg to differ, there are times when I access the page and the security warning pops up and times when it does not. I attribute this to my IP address and where I might be in the world accessing my site. Anywho, I'm not trying to have an arguement, it is what it is. Maybe some nice internet guru will come in here and tell us the real deal.
im not trying to argue either. I very much appreciate the response and input from anyone that takes the time to give me the advice, that makes sense what you said, i will just do as the other guy suggested and visit the sites from tor or open in a sandbox.
As a heads up, you may still get the warnings while on tor.
LOL what antivirus is catching it? Are you sure its just not saying its a unsafe website because people have reported that they sell god awful steroids?
avast pro. you could be right about that, but every time ive not listened to those anti-virus programs, its came back and bit me in the ass. Plus, it wouldnt surprise me if alot of those sites have spyware on them, so they can see what websites their customers/prospective customers visit often, but now im just hypothesizing .

1jakd_hipyIts the location of their server that marks them as a malicious site most are offshore for more security, it comes down to how much you trust the source
Iv had it happen, on some of the sites it has been said that its where the server is located. Through location is automatically flagged in your anti virus program
