T3/T4 lab results help

ad

Doc says my t3 levels are 4.33 (h) value. TSH value 0.054. Im taking T3 cytomel to lose weight. Is this the reasons my levels are abnomal? Does it mean cytomel I got was real.

If you are taking cytomel your t3 level will rise outside the normal range. Your tsh should also fall. If you take enough cytomel long enough your tsh level will fall to 0. This is nothing to worry about.

Just do not go too hard with the t3 as you can become hyperthyroid quickly.

The thyroid is extremely adaptive. It is well documented of t3 users being on for years, and then stopping, resulting in normal thyroid function within weeks.

The ranges for free T3 and TSH we use in anti-aging are different from the standard lab ranges that your doc is used to looking at and are optimal for health: Free T3 between 3 and 4.2 pg/mL and TSH between .4 and 1 are optimal. It looks like you are just slightly high on your free T3. You might want to slightly reduce your Cytomel dosage and retest periodically. FR and PM me if you have questions or would like me to send you some reading material. BTW... Check out my post at http://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/discounted-labcorp-bloo... before you order any blood tests - It could save you some $$$

Sorry for the delay... Just ran across your post. Better late than never! ;-)
