Storage question

ad

Quick question, had a few vials of test c stored in my closet and I went to take them out a day ago and they were laying on their sides. Are they still good to go or will the test be affected because the rubber stoppers from the vials have been sitting in the liquid? The test is slightly yellow but as far as I can remember most test c is. Hope that makes sense And thanks for any help.

The rubber stoppers are designed to withstand the corrosion of most chemical solvents. Just keep the vials stored at room temp and out of direct sunlight.

Good to know, thanks blood

The solvent used is miglyol if that helps and they’ve been stored for 2 months, 3 tops.

You’re all good brother. I’ve had some lay on the side for months without an issue.

X2 Just check to see there aren't rubber bits floating around depending on the style of stopper - Although many I get now from UK labs have a clear strong rubber part that doesn't look like it would corrode at all!

Right on, thanks dude

Roger that, thanks dude

Shouldn't have much bearing on the degradation of the rubber. If you shake it and it looks like some cloudy is coming off the rubber I would worry. No particles? No separation? No milky?

Awesome, thanks dude

It’s only been about two months at the most. Thanks for the help amigo!

I had some on its side and it’s fine. I even put a drop on the bio trace swab at work. Said zero contaminates

Thanks, good info I appreciate it

They’ll be fine I reckon mate. As long as they weren’t stored like that for a year +
