I use one of them little microwaveable rice heat packs. (If you are handy with a sewing needle you can make one easy) By microwaving it I would assume it also has a sterilizing effect. It does a great job of heating up my oil pre-injection.
carguy78Ok I simmered a pan of water and covered the bottle half way up to the full line left it in for 4 min then took it out its clear now nothing floating but I am worried that I might have damaged the hormone in it idk I've never did this before
Buildbigger86i take a bowl and heat up the sink water to a hot temp and let it sit in bowl for 2 minutes, Then you take vial out make sure you put vial in a towel if you put it on the sink top or anything like that you could crack the vial because in the difference in temps. so make you keep it in a towel then just pull oil and it all smooth from there also gear gets absorbed faster when heated.
carguy78Bring the water to a simmer or boil? Or just warm tap water
Buildbigger86not to a boil just i run hot water from sink into bowl but like hot where if you put your hand in front of water it will burn. Also i like to close the hatchet or whatver in the sink so while the hot water is running into bowl it eventually will fill bowl and overflow into sink and i let the water in sink rise up to 3/4 of the top of the bowl.
If oil doesnt have any crystal formation 2-3 minutes will be fine for heating up. if you are dealing with crystal's in vial then after 3 minutes shakes vial up a bit and see how much the crystal have dissolved back into liquid if still some crystals remain place back in water and just check every 2 mins till crystals dissolve
carguy78Ok thanks I didn't know if heating it up would mess with the integrity of the oil .
Buildbigger86well if you put the oil in extremely hot boiling water i believe it can fuck up the oils but if do the way i told you. You will be fine. I have done it like 60 times and it always been fine
carguy78Ok thanks man
Marcel1229Post a picture during the process, and then take the picture of the results
I have put it in the oven in a water bath at ~180F. Make sure to vent the top with a syringe needle but don't let the needle touch the oil.
carguy78And that won't hurt the integrity of the gear?? I'm just asking because I've never did this before
