Questions not answered in FAQ
I apologize for the long post but in order for everyone to get the best picture and make the best judgment if gear may or may not be right for me, I'd like to go in depth. So basically, I haven't even done a cycle yet. I'm still on the fence if the rewards outweigh the risks so I'm doing my homework now. Now before I continue, I'd like to point out that I'm only 19... I know this seems bad but if you could hear me out, I'd appreciate it. I've dealt with low energy for many years now. Probably beginning at the age of 12-13. Over the years though, I've come to love weightlifting. I've been weightlifting for 3-4 years now and the only reason why I was able to continue as long as I have with weightlifting is through the usage of high doses of my preworkout. (Generally around 250-300 mg caffeine) Throughout this time, I've been strict on my diet by eating right and eating big, and I've done my best to train to the best of my ability in the gym. All this and a mandatory 7-9 hrs of sleep. With the time I've put in, I just don't see the results. I'm 6' 0", weigh 161, with a BF of around 10-11%.
Trying to pinpoint why I have such low energy all the time has been a long process. I've seen doctors who believed I had depression, nutrient imbalances, etc. My blood was tested for numerous things such as a thyroid condition, and testosterone levels, among others. I had no thyroid condition and my testosterone was 371 ng/dl. I have a feeling that at the prime age of 18 (when my blood was taken) my test shouldn't be this low. I consulted my doctor about this but he saw no reason to put me on any pharm juice. He thought it was within the normal ranges, apparently between 250-850 ng/dl. He put me on anti-depressants, different vitamins, to no avail. Finally, as a last resort, I was prescribed to D-Amphetamine (Adderall) In my case, its quite an unorthodox approach to cure low energy, seeing as Adderall is most commonly used to treat ADHD. With that said, I've definitely noticed an increase in energy. Unfortunately I can't say the same for my sex drive. I rarely masturbate (once or twice every few weeks), and I don't even get an erection when I'm with a girl. This has embarrassing for me, which is why I'm here, willing to go to extremes at such an early age.
An older friend of mine who has been in the gear business for quite sometime gave me some suggestions on some test that would give me a boost that I need but not an unnecessary sky rocket. While he has been around for a while, I'd like to run through these and see what you guys think.
He recommended: EITHER Cypionate (250-400 ml/ week) or anthenate (250-400 ml/ week) He also recommended a PTC and mentioned Clomed as an option. I've read all the Beginner 101 posts, and noticed he didn't say anything about an estrogen blocker? Is that something I should look into if I decide to juice?
So, should I look into gear?
Thanks in advance.

It does sound like your testosterone levels are very low for a young man that is 19 years old. I do think there to help increase your metabolism you should be at least six times a day. At six-foot tall and only 160 pounds it wouldn't hurt to have a high carbohydrate diet along with the high-protein diet. This should help increase your metabolism now I think that doing cardio workouts four times a week will definitely help your metabolism also I know it's hard to get through a cardio workout when you're feeling lethargic but I definitely think that it something you need to try at least for a couple of months
A lot of times when you're dealing with a family doctor They might check your testosterone levels but neglect to check your estrogen levels. If your estrogen levels are high or low it could be causing these symptoms You are barely out of and still possibly in puberty. So you may very well have a hormone imbalance I say this because you said your problem started when he was 12 or 13 This is when boys typically start puberty You are still very young and I wouldn't hop on testosterone just yet until you have exhausted all your options. It sounds like you've done quite a bit to find out what is going on But there still are a couple more things you might check out such as your Estrogen levels. I would definitely recommend that you seek out a hormone doctor Because they will know exactly what to look for before I make a recommendation for you to start taking testosterone Have you taken any painkillers such as Vicodin or Percocets? You have any past or present drug use?
