+ 3 PIP IN QUADS (beginners)

ad

I used to get really bad pip in quads and was nervous to pin them. I recently changed a few things around and now its my favorite injection site. First do all your preping drawing oil ect & dont forget to aspirate.
1) after drawn run syringe under hot water for about 1-3 min
2) sit down and relax the muscle
3) dont pin to fast
4) aspirate
5) take 30 secs or more to push down plunger
6) wait 5 mins and take a hot shower(optional) you can use a heating pad also.
This works for me and I hope it helps others too.

I pin alot in the quads. One hint that might help the beginner is to not go too low. Anytime ive ever nicked a nerve in my leg is when ive gone on the lower part of my thigh near my knee. That is also where I get the most sore the next day. Stick to the upper third of the leg. Hope this helps you in avoiding a nerve.

Has anyone experienced a sick feeling\bad cough when pinning tren E in the quad? I don't get the feeling if i pin delts or glutes AND it only happens with Tren E. I've tried different suppliers, different gauged needles ect... Thanks in advanced.

mattsilf's picture

Thats the dreaded Tren cough. It happens to alot of people. Do you lube the needle by squeezing a little out the syringe before you pin? My theory is, by lubing like that, and nicking blood vessels on the way in, some Tren gets in your bloodstream and causes that cough. Anyone agree or is that a dumb theory?

abomination's picture

Thank you for the reply. I have tried to do that. I guess there's not much I can do about it. Ha. Does anyone know why tren causes a cough?

StevieB's picture

The reading I've done I don't think I there is a hard and fast theory behind tren cough. As said with proper technique it shouldn't happen, but when it does it can be anything from an annoying tickle to full on sweats nausea etc. try to fight the urge to cough and sip on cold water until it passes.

Type proper pinning techniques in mag glass or google.

I seem to hit a blood vessel more often than I do anywhere else. Oh well its part of the game.

No it is NOT part of the game quit being so naive!............ i notice you are 21yrs old, nothing wrong with that but i suggest to you to go do some research on proper pinning techniques before you come on this board telling people "hitting blood vessels is part of the game".

I want real knowledge only in-putted on this board! if you cannot do this simply refrain from in-putting BS.

What fuck is up with you trolls lately? That man you are speaking so disrespectfully too is arguably the most helpful brother on this entire board. You better grow up son, you don't smack a gift horse in the mouth!

First time user at 39y/o. Just finished a 12 week mixed ester test cycle. The quads worked good for me. there "visable" for lack of a better term. Each quad hurt for a couple days after the fist inj but was smooth on out.

2 teaspoons of man the fuck up, it's part of the game. I pin quads and the first few times it was crippling, now I love it... I try to work my legs the day after pinning, I just like pain I guess.

SimonM84's picture

im all about manning up, but there are some cases I've done rip blends in quads and i was limping for a week. not fun skipping out on legs and cardio for manning up

First time I pinned my quads, I couldnt walk for 3 days and had to take time off work haha it was like a dead leg whenever I walked. I never forget that, whereas the pain the first time I did my glutes was just like a kick up the ass LOL

Dosas's picture

I just started my first cycle and ended my second week so far.. I've been only pinning my quads and feel barely any pip in my right and slight pip in my left.. just feels like a really bad bruise for a few days but nothing major. Definitely will try rubbing the site right after pinning though next time!

Pale's picture

I have found pinning quads and really even most other places at night before bed makes for a smoother next day experience. Quads, they are always a bit of a gamble, (part of the fun) one day smooth as silk the next time could be peg leg. It is just the nature of the beast. Embrace it..

Champion Of The Mind's picture

I notice it's kinda painful at first but it really works and you can build tolerance to it fast, is to massage the area after pinning. I like to press down with both thumbs and push and press in a downward motion.. Don't go back and forth, just start at the top massage in a downward position. It seems to help the oil dissipate into the muscle fibers.

thahulk2014's picture

I do this also. With palm tho

Champion Of The Mind's picture

I use to use the palm, then I found with the thumbs you can alternate pressure between the sides and really break the coagulation apart.

Good point bro

Thanks bro.

I used to pin quads but no more! Pip is none existent but I feel I have more nerves in this area and it can cause injection pain muscle twitch's and spasms. A lot of people don't have this issue. Maybe I should try again but with longer pins inch and a half. Just a side note quads used to be my favorite! Only on my previous bulking cycle did it become a problem for me. Now I steer clear and stick to delts and glutes I like long esters, less pinning I'm a bitch.

Are you running water over it to warm up the needle?

One thing I found with pinning quads is to sit in a way that pulls the muscle tight. And I use a long dart, so it goes deep into the muscle.

kth3446's picture

I don't use water to warm it anymore, i accidently got water in a 25ml vial of test cyp and it made it look like sewer water. I'm always scared it'll get in there somehow even if its an irrational fear. i always wrap it up in a heating pad before i change pin tips so the metal don't get hot. Works great and seems more sterile.

Hairdryer works good too, im sure you have one of those ;-).

UgtaBkdNme's picture

Hmmm, what was your first clue? lol

thahulk2014's picture

Ive ried it and it works well. I just prefer the sink.

thahulk2014's picture

No warm the oil up once its in syringe. Warmed oil cause less pip. I leave the muscle loose, works better for me. I use a 23g 1" for quads.

UgtaBkdNme's picture

Warm oil makes sense. A 23g would scare me, I pin with a 27 1 1/4, I'd use a smaller gauge if they made it lol

thahulk2014's picture

Lol. The warming of the oil makes for less crystallization and less cyst like symptoms. It also spreads out/in quicker.

UgtaBkdNme's picture

It makes sense, for some reason when I read it I thought you were warming the needle. That seemed odd.

jansen's picture

The problemni have pinning quads is no matter where I pin when I get about 3/4 inch in its like I hit a nerve and get a severe pain in my leg. Even if I remove the pin and dont inject It still gets swollen and red.

thahulk2014's picture

How many times have you tried?

jansen's picture

LOTS! I usually just pin it and deal with it, I was just wondering what could possibly be the cause of this.

thahulk2014's picture

Try pinning right after a hot shower

jansen's picture

Cool ill give it a shot. Thanks.
