I ran test e for two weeks from one src. The pip was terrible. I was told to trash it, that this source was shit. This ,from a few different people here. So I was referred to a different source, again I checked with a few here. I had minimal pip. This source has good reviews, and the product is in grape seed oil. Does the pip make a difference in potency or quality either way?

I don't grade gear by PIP or the lack thereof as I rarely get it and see great gains.
I got test from 2 different top sources when I first started, they both hurt like a motherfucker, but one more than the other, and a few of his oils were ranked in the top ten. I tried another source, a distributor, and with the brand I ordered I had painless injections. Before trying tho, I thought I was doomed. I thought I'd never get to use it again because it so unbearable I couldn't even lift.
It could the BA concentration, the way your body reacts to the carrier or even the quality of the raws being used. To answer your question, no, pip doesn't tell you if the gear is good or not.
I agree with PIN_CUSHION and will add this. One of the leading causes of PIP is too high a concentration of benzyl alcohol (BA) in the product. BA is used to increase solubility of the powdered steroid compound in the oil and to help inhibit (but not prevent) bacteriological contamination. From what I've read, the shorter the ester, the more BA is needed to get the compound to dissolve and I have noticed more PIP on short ester UGL products than on long ester products. Same holds true of high concentration products. More BA is required to dissolve the raw powder to make something like Test 500 mg / ml. When BA really is in too high a concentration, the injection site can swell up like a softball making u think it's infected when it's not. Also, in high concentration products, when the carrier oil is metabolized, the steroid "crystals" are left behind in the muscle tissue to be metabolized and this can cause some discomfort.
The best UGL labs on this website (the big one's) have staff chemists and real pros on the production line as well as and the same pharmaceutical processing equipment that leading publicly traded big name pharma companies use. They know EXACTLY how much BA to use and the production is so refined it stays consistent from batch to batch to batch. So, if you want the best, go to the large high volume labs on the site, and your likelihood of problems will be less. Go to the source review section of this site and stare at the summary page. You should be able to figure it out.
It's a little off topic - but I know of one UGL that has made a video of their steroid production line in use and if you PM me I will send you the link. At best, you will realize that the top UGLs are not mom and pop operations.
Excellent post (1+). I would only add there also also individual factors involved- such as quantity of injection, injection technique, frequency, and other personal health factors. For example when I must take prednisone while on a cycle the pain is 3x worse and lasts twice as long.

I think this is better suited for the source pages. You can't go by pip. From what I hear Pharma gear has zero pip, and it don't get any better then Pharma. Pip is much more than just gear it's hygiene, needle size, technique, injection site.
I think I've heard some guys saying watson hurts too.

Can't say as I've yet to try true Pharma, but my next run will be. As far as my current gear, it's pip free, I'll have bloods drawn in a couple weeks, as that will be the only real way of knowing if it's legit. Obviously you can tell by the way your body reacts, but blood doesn't lie.
Lots of variables for the cause of pip.Grape seed oil has some sort of natural pain killer anti inflammatory something or another,so it hurts less.
