No pip gear warming

ad

So this has been my favorite thing posted here but I would like to post my own to try and contribute. So for people getting PIP (post injection pain) many vets have gave us the great advice of warming gear. So this is what I have learned and do from learning here i boil up some water well not to a boil but more around the 150 range that's about the tap on its highest but boiling first obviously kills everything so let boiled water cool just a bit. Pour water into a shot glass the normal shot glass size you buy from any store then drop vile in shot glass (shot glass) will keep it from topping over if vile Is low give it about 2 minutes to warm your gear pull it out wipe with alcohol wipe and draw, it will draw very well while warm. Once drawn switch pins get out any bubbles and boom you will have no pip at all. The only thing I have to contribute here that has not already been said is the shot glasses everything else I learned from reading here. Well hope this helps for people scared of pinning I was and now I can ed if needed

I used to heat my gear before pinning. Now im so tired of pinning and wanna get it over so fast i just deal with the pip. Idk if this actually helped or not. Maybe tomorrow ill try warming my vials and see if it helps at all cause i been getting bad pip from the gear im using. I think dry heat is definitely the way to go though. i dont trust water around my vials.

I warm my gear in the pin, only so that it's easier to push thick gear through the 25g pin I inject with. I keep my gear at room temperature. I have found either gear has pip or it doesn't. Warming it up really made no difference.

I don't like to use water around my vials because water seems to find its way into everything. It can be a way of heating it if you are VERY careful. Definitely don['t be submerging your vial or let water hit the top of it. If your gear suddenly turns cloudy on you one day water likely found its way in their somehow and you better toss it.

I always warm my vials on a heat pad on high for about 10m. Makes pinning it very easy, Ive found it reduced pip for me too however I attribute most of it to being able to keep the pin steady since I'm not pushing as hard down onto the pin and causing the pin to move inside my muscle. I find placing a hot pad on the injection site the next day reduces second day PIP considerably however

Put the vial in your pocket or hold it, just get it to your body temperature is good enough. Roughly 15 minutes will do. Never had a problem that way.

Run pin under hot tap water for a minute or add sterile gso.

Agreed with running pin under hot tap water for a min

Does the trick for me

So your saying if my body doesn't like EO then I should just "warm my gear" then I won't get "pip" from it??

Bro how much "research" did you do here?? Because usually to reduce pip people add something like EQ 1 to 1 ratio or less in some cases to reduce pip. Or sterile GSO, sterile CSO..IMO the only time one should heat gear is when the gear has crashed or the carrier oil is super thick to thin it out temporally so it's easier to draw and inject.

Now you officially have blown my mind lol... So that's the answer to no pip on virgin muscles?? Really?

SenseiMiagi's picture

Seems like a lot of work for 1 pin.

Whoa. IMO, heating gear is more to allow it flow through smaller pins, or to uncrash. I dont think it has this much effect on PIP....however, I dont heat mine so I wont speak from experience.

Fair enough. I will contiue to draw, and pin with my unheated 23g. Hopefully this helps some folks.
