muscle water retention
ad
So I should prolly know this by now but I know how steroids increase water retention in muscle cells and I understand how that give you a fuller look but how does that actually increase strength having extra water in the muscle

cell hydration will make you more anabolic. proper hydration will result in better protein uptake and nitrogen retention. if you are dehydrated your muscles will become irritated/inflammed which will result in strength lossand make you prone to injury...this is also why your muscles cramp when you are dehydrated
Full muscles can hold more nutrients for that contraction power
cdaddy7Yes fast!!! More ATP bc of volume
Ahaha I see ATP and I think of measuring cleanliness in the OR! U talking bout adenosine triphosphate? I know that all living matter has it.
cdaddy7Adenosine Triphosphate....yes it is the energy that fuels our muscle contractions..... ATP is the "storage molecule" for energy within the body.... As the body breaks down glucose(and other sugars) it produces ATP to store the energy released.... ATP is used to bring energy to the actin protein to make it move..... Basically, there are two proteins in muscles that cause them to move: actin and myosin....They act as a sort of rachet system...The actin has indentations where one end of the myosin can attach. When myosin is phosphorylated (given a phosphate by ATP and thus given energy, while the ATP becomes ADP) it moves one notch down on the actin. This process happens to make the muscle contract.....that's our weekend science lesson LOL
I've spent the last two week monitoring that shit all over my Hospital. We had a spike in infections and I had to measure OR rooms before every single operation/procedure! It's crazy how that meter uses light to measure matter. I felt all CSI n shit:-D
cdaddy7I know it truly is amazing how advanced we are in forensic and trace sciences that we have such ability to see and detect things we couldnt 20 years ago...it is amazing!!!
You hit it perfectly on the balance of water vs bloat.
cdaddy7The theory is the pressure actually forces your muscles to contract harder....now the flip side with the increase pressure your bp goes up too...watch the bp bro....it will creep up and be in stroke alley before u know it esp if ur using abombs or dbol...not worth the little edge it gives IMHO make sure the water retention is as minimal as it can be by using an AI like Arimidex if u are having issues
