+ 3 Masteron-hardening for how long?
ad
I know the basics of Masteron just as we all do. Most would say it’s the #1 contest prep compound for its muscle hardening/anti estrogenic effects.
But my question is for the vets with multiple cycles of it under their belts. How long do the affects/muscle hardening last from it? I know what the half-life of Mast P & E are. But that doesn’t necessarily mean the affects will wear off then.
Last injection of Mast P, how long do you keep the hardening effects for? 2-3 days? One week? Longer?
Last injection of Mast E, how long do you keep the hardening effects for? 2-3 days? One week? Longer? (Obviously longer than P)
(Yes this is all based on the a person that continues to train and eat correctly)

DobermannI honestly believe that last 4 weeks up to the show when body fat is low enough should be enough.i did 8 weeks
Last prep and it was a waste imho.
I have only used mast during prep so these are my observations from it. Believe it or not I usually use mast e during prep and not mast p. When prepping I stop all shots on the Tuesday before the show. which is on saturday. I have not noticed any decreased in hardening effects of the mast over that time frame. The effects of mast still seem to be prevalent for at least a couple of days post show. So with mast e I would say you could easily get away with a good week+ as far as really noticing the benefits from it, but if you load up on sodium along with a crappy diet I would assume the look it imparts would go away rather quickly and after a few days of shitty eating it would be gone.
All that being said, if your bodyfat is low enough to really see what the mast can do to it, the mast is just a small part of the equation. Your bodyfat will stay low for quite awhile even if pigging out so I would think you would look pretty good whether or not mast is part of the equation.
Brother,
What’s your stance on a high sodium diet during prep? Stan efferding is a huge proponent of 7-10 grams of sodium per day (preferably iodized for thyroid health and GIVEN ATHLETE HAS NO BP ISSUES) as a way of keeping muscles full while cutting carbs and maintaining performance in the gym. More intramuscular water=more reps, more weight, less cramping/joint pain and ultimately more muscle held come show day. I know initially your body well swell up from the sodium but should regulate by 3-5 days and come back to normal.
Thoughts? And when would you start to drop the sodium as you’re approaching show day?
DobermannSorry just wanted to give my word frommlast contest.
I did the whole loading sodium/cutting carbs and then loading carbs and cutting sodium and worked like a charm.u gotta have he gut for all that salt but it worked wonders.
Btw u can do it either way,i see Makwa does the opposite.
It works both ways thats for sure.(yes the first 3 days inwas bloating real bad but then indropped all the water fast fast)
I've tried Stans advice on extra salt intake and it defo works for strength gains and maxes - No Joke! You have to be able to stomach the extra salt though and get ready to be thirsty. There's a certain buddy of mine on here that knows stan extremely well, I'll let him chime in if he wants to make it known tho lol ..
I don't worry much about sodium for most of prep. I consume around 4-6g/d but during peak weak is when I start cutting it so that I am as close to zero as possible come show time. I have it all outlined in my peak week prep strategy.
Much appreciated, I’ll revisit that post.
There isnt really a straight forward answer to this. Multiple factors. Like a persons diet and training, how quickly a persons body metabolizes the compound or how the persons body reacts to the compound in general
Rustyhooker^^^^^^theres the real answer. E2, foods, water intake, salt ....etc etc etc
I sent friend request so i can pm you
RustyhookerGot it. Fire away
Well I think that part of the answer was rather obvious. If the persons diet, training, salt intake and E2 go to shit they’re obviously not going to keep the hardening affect. All those things are pretty clear and I didn’t need help answering that. I didn’t think I needed to state that the person is going to continue training and working out how long the effects will work for....
As far as how the compound works, I figured there would be some experience guys that have run it 4-5 times that would know how long it last in “their system” roughly. Yes I understand everyone is going to go through different compounds at a different speed but there must be some rough answer on it lasting 2 to 4 days or 7 to 10....
RustyhookerMeaning that unless youre heading to stage it could be assumed lean cut is lean cut. Run drol if youre just looking to drop sub q water at a sub 8%. Plus it fills those muscle bellies. Fuller, denser and at a super low bf level...completed.
I find this an interesting topic because there isn’t one answer. Like said above its also mostly dictated by how you handle your body afterwards.
Side note. You find drol better at that than winny? (I’ve never used drol so that’s why I ask)
RustyhookerAfter using top notch var, winny went to second choice. I loved it when i was young but not it makes my joints sore. That achy low estro sore feeling. Npp with winny fixed the squeaks but then its adding another chem unless youre on npp.
Just pointing out that at super cut stage the drol will pull that subq. The adv group, guys chatted on it. Drol in general gave the fuller pump feeling. Great gym pumps. But can cause bp headaches if you err on hydration. Ive only run it twice so ive still got tons to learn. With eq ya definitly gotta watch bp.
I’m not ready to take things that far anyways. My last cut was low test, Tren & Mast and I loved it. MAYBE add winny or bar next time. But no need for drol off stage.
Thanks for the info bro
RustyhookerWish that i had better answers for ya. Simple is so much easier
I wasnt trying to be a dick lol.
Lol I know bro, it’s all good
Great question.... looking forward to some experienced answers!!
Well the more I got to thinking about it the more I realized I honestly didn’t know the answer. I’ve only use the compound once and I was up to the day of my vacation. So once I got on vacation my diet went to shit. I kept doing cardio so I didn’t look horrible with my vacation was done but with all the extra sodium I couldn’t judge how the mastering was still doing one week or two weeks later.
I think the guys that I’ve stepped on stage multiple times will have the most accurate answers which is what I’m looking forward to.
