Injected into vein

I always aspirate before and every half cc.
I was injecting in my quad, and ofcourse I aspirated before injecting anything. Everything was fine and I started injecting. After the first half cc I aspirated again and this time blood filled the syringe. Now I start feeling like shit and get a burning feeling in my lungs, coughing, burning sensation through out the body and sharp quick pain in the heart. Now everything was gone by 5 minutes later. Except from a headache. This happened yesterday.
My question is should I visit the doctor now or am I out of danger? I'm feeling a little tired today, but nothing out of the ordinary 
By the way I was injecting 150mg/ml test P. I'm using 500mg EW.

you only need to asprate once - all the extra fidgeting probabaly casued the needle to move around and you turned a perfectly good injection into a fail - 1x only no blood your good to go .
Never understood the reasoning behind aspiration more than once. When you enter the tissues, you aspirate to make sure you're not in a vessel. Once you start pressing the plunger, your needle should be set. Unless you're moving it around, which you shouldn't be doing, a second aspiration is really pointless IMO. Doctors don't even do this...
Now, you're probably thinking,
It's not uncommon to nick or penetrate a vessel on the way in and have the needle stop far enough away from it to not register during aspiration. Reason it gets into the vessel is that the Tissues will expand somewhat as the injected fluids build up. They will work their way thru the tissues somewhat and, if the nicked vessel is close enough, the blood and oils will seep together.
If you're aspirating ever 1/2 cc and you draw blood at some point, that second aspiration does nothing more than tell you that a vessel was hit somewhere near the site. The damage is already done, it's not gonna save you from keeping the oils out of the blood stream.
But won't aspirating multiple times stop you from injecting more oil into the area you hit the vessel, thus keeping more oil from entering the bloodstream?
Cant say thats ever been an issue. I pull back roughly every 0.75ml have have done for numerous years. Another leading BB I know actully pushes the pin out as he is injecting to ensure he never goes in to a vein. [kid you not!]
Alot of it is fear of doing it I guess? But equally - the chances of actually going in to a vein are slim if you stick to the key injection sites.
Just for future - if you ever did Inject Oil or Air into Vein you will know within circa 30 seconds.....as you will more than likely pass out and then most probably have heart failure if it hits the supply there. You could also just have a siezure if it gets to the brain
Oil will take a while to get to the heart or brain [when I say while i am tlking 10-25 seconds] but the effect of it clogging in the vein will cause a blockage and failure depending on which route it takes and what it was supplying.
It just sounds like the BA/BB may have go in to the stream but that wont kill you unless you took ml's of it raw.
Not a nice feeling but one that should ensure you always pull back every 0.75 mill :-)
Anonlast time I checked you would have to inject like 30CC of air into a vein to cause issues. pretty unlikely ;)
not sure on oil, but im sure we would be reading about a lot of steroid related deaths if it was as simple as that

BigBmajInjecting small amounts of air into a vein will not do anything. I had this debate with someone and they took a syringe and injected air - not Co2 that will kill you, right into their vein. I have subsequently injected air into my veins over the years from being careless.
Large air bubbles can cause problems but a small amount of air in the vein is really nothing to freakout about.
Before my last surgery, the nurse hooked me up to an IV and turned it on. The entire tube was filled with air and it all went directly into my vein. I got a little light headed but that was it. If air into the vein killed you, I would be dead. You're heart basically micronizes the air bubbles. I don't recommend this by the way.
BigBmajI had that happen once too. I was pinching the IV closed because the line was full of air bubbles. I had heard the air will kill you myth and it totally freaked me out. The nurse told me not to worry about it.
That's super funny that you were pinching he line! I don't blame you though. It is something that everyone says will kill you but it won't. You can google it and it will tell you the same.

AnonYou should be ok, as you inject the oil will pool in your muscle and mix with blood. Your first aspiration was clear so is a good sign. The other symptoms could be due to the fear and stress of seeing blood in the tube. If your symptoms continue or get worse obviously see your doc, but you should be ok.
