How do you argue for the use of steroids?

ad

I got into an argument with a buddy of mine the other day about steroids and if their use is ethical. I argued that if unnaturally increasing substances that are already in your body is unethical how does that differ from legal supplements such as creatine, pre-workouts, prohormones, etc. He uses all of the aforementioned supplements, so I asked him where you draw the line? Effectiveness? Steroids are illegal because they're better? He didn't really have a good answer.

So I was just wondering how you guys react when confronted with the issue? More specifically if someone has ever argued with you against their use. How do you build your argument? Or do you just let it go and have fun being twice their size?

How can someone tell you that doing something that will make you better is bad? That would be like telling someone to not wear glasses/contacts because its enhancing yourself. Or not drinking coffee before work because it gives you an edge that others may not have. The whole argument is stupid, and caused by a media and political spin that tells people that these products are bad. You should ask your friend for the proof that actually states that steroids are so harmful....there is none. Because of the public dislike of steroids there is actually very limited research done on long term effects of the drugs. Also you should tell him to look at how many deaths each year are caused by steroids.....then tell him to look at deaths caused by peanuts, he will shit up

generally people are not all educated about the steriod. first they argue is the sterotypes of steriod that they are all same. we all know people in this forum know the difference between winny from deca. we all know and understand that we do not condone 18 years old to be on steriod. i bet you most people dont know about pct or serm. older you get you drop testrone levels by so you need to replace this testrone because it is for your health benifits. if they argue with you about steriods ask them to educated themslves before making a statment you have no clues about.if they argue with you about side effects of steriods just say which steriod are you talking about winny, primo, tren ,halo, anavar, test, winny, drol.sus, some of this are used in medical try to argue the medical points. if they argue about why you need to use it, just point the finger right back at them ask them if they take any kind of supplement most likely they will say protein powder just say in medical journal have done studies on protein that it prove almost 80% protein powder sold in the market have steriods in them.

I often think back to this:

People that go around and talk about shit, Haven't performed it or done it, That's why they have to talk about it, Bragging rights is a right, And if done correctly it requires no words, If you have to talk about the success, You cheapen the accomplishment all together, The true champions are quiet, The critics of life, These fucking parasites to society, Have never seen the crowd from the field view, And if they have never taken a breathe of air, That's mixed with anxiety and pressure, Then they don't know victory or defeat, Because they never put themselves at risk, They have never shown up, They never walked their talked, So therefore we tell them to go fuck themselves and their opinion, We don't care what they fucking say, All we care about is people that perform, And those guys, They don't need to talk.

I like to equate it to 'taking a shortcut'. If you take a shortcut on your way to work every morning that not only saves you time and money, are you doing anything wrong? Is that cheating? I don't think so, you've simply found a way to be more EFFICIENT.

Oh, and by the way, statistically speaking, the average steroid user is a highly educated white male in his 30's with a good paying job who has never participated in sports and simply uses steroids as part of a well developed exercise regimen.

Now, does that sound like a "drug abuser" to you?

Well, look at it this way. If someone want to work years in the gym naturally then fair play to 'em they have good dedication. But if you could take months and months of that by taking gear and doing the same training/diet why not? It's quicker and lets you get places faster, also if you want a unnatural body theres no other way.

Thats funny. I ran into a group of guys at the gym a while back and was doin my own thing but was listening to their conversation. Same here, I couldn't belive the shit they were saying and doing. The 1 guy was actin like he was a pro bodybuilder and was tellin these other guys to go get this and that from GNC. He was showing them some spinning move with the dumbell where you spin your wrist with a 35lb weight from as far as your wrist could go one way and back to the other way. One guy that tried it popped his wrist rite away and held it the rest of the time they were in there. All these guys were out of shape and small. You could tell they have never been in a gym. I seen these guys in the gym for a week, after that I never seen them again.

I tend not to bother because the ones who question it are the same ones who go out all the time, smoke, drink, sit on their lazy ass all day and think that doing that is fine but steroids are somehow worse?

try saying this to your buddy does he object to a woman spending thousands of pounds/dollars on a boob job to better herself if not why is it thats ok but a man cant spend a fraction of that bettering himself your friend is just jealous cos youre gonna have a better body than he is and he is a pussy probably scared of needles so he has just decided to say steroids are wrong

My argument about steroids being ethical or not is that their use is approved by those who practice bodybuilding and that's enough to make it "ethical" for them. See, if we were talking some other sport like soccer or basketball that has a larger practitioners-base and where you can play and enjoy them without steroids, then using steroids is overkill. Now, if what gets you off is bodybuilding, pro-wrestling or some other sport where the use of AAS is wide-spread and approved then, who cares?

Just today an acquaintance of mine saw me at the gym and told me all about some new bullshit gnc came out with and that his recovery time is 'sick', and he knows im on a cycle and that my recovery time and workouts are better lol. I just looked at him and shook my head like I cared because if I really started getting into it I would've gotten so fucking pissed off like I do everytime someone tries to argue prohormones are better for u then AAS. There is no arguing AAS with ppl that are against it because 'they are right'. If they would research it they would know what we know about it, although I did shut one buddy up real quick when he started bitching at me about roids in front of my girl, it got bad he started all of it too, it got to the point where even my girl had called him out on who looks better and that he was retarded for comparing roids to crack, which he did btw, then I exposed him by bringing up how he asked me for some dbol and test a weekreal earlier and that I refused to help him unless he became 100% dedicated and did research. It was awesome I really did win that one and what's even better was that his girl was there also and he got embarrassed in front of her when he was the one who tried to make me look bad. Needless to say he isn't even a real friend anyways I don't have a lot of those.....ppl in general piss me off im not a dick nor am I rly cocky, but I just know how I get sometimes Idk...

I like your style

I don't say anything to the ppl around me about steroids. Most of them havn't done any research on steroids and none of them have ran a cycle. Those are the kinds of ppl that think you need every supplement in the world to get big and steroids were bad and their main focus is supplements also, instead of proper diet, routine, and sleep. I was once one of those ppl untill I found out 90% of supplements are junk. Now im on my first cycle and Im 32 days in on a moderate test e cycle and have gained more strength and weight in my short 32 days than I have in at least 2 yrs with just supplements.

they'll buy whatever magic pill they see pushed on TV, but they have no idea about the work.
AAS is an enabler AFTER hard work is committed to the cause.
Most folks (Americans at least) are too busy bitching about money, and preoccupying themselves with sedentary and unproductive activities.
They don't have any idea about hard, hard work, and commitment without whining.
How can you possibly explain AAS to them? They won't understand.
And I in no way mean DRUG ABUSE. I mean well-planned and understood USE only.

eatbig's picture

pink magic, the name only fuels the fire to dumb asses. Like its a magic pill that will make any overweight person that eats mc d's and drinks a gollon a soda every day and is too lazy to get their ass in a gym, skinny and look good. LOL
