Hole in top if vial
ad
Any one ever experienced a small hole in the rubber top of the vial towards the end? I was loading a pin (75mg test e) and I noticed a very small hole and a piece of rubber(very small piece) it went straight into the syringe luckily so I threw it away. After examining the rest of the contents I drew another 75mg and it was clean. I use 18 gauge needles to draw so after so many uses one vial, its seems reasonable that it would develop a hole. Anyways, I wrapped the vial in an alcohol wipe and placed it in a zip lock bag. Will it be OK for another 2 weeks till my other gets here?

Yea bro don't chance it throw it out. I never use an 18 to draw. I use a 25 to draw and pin. When you warm the oil up good it will flow through a 25 just fine I promise. Why use such a big pin and risk trashing a perfectly good bottle of gear I just can't see it.
Throw it away! Use a 21 gauge green to pull. Never had a problem
It depends on the gauge you use and how many times you draw. It's not the first time I hear of this issue and usually from people who have 20ml vials. Is that what you were using?
As for storage, if there's definitely a hole in the stopper then I wouldn't use it, the sterility of the vial has been compromised. You decide for yourself.
Its a 10ml vial and is using a 18g needle to draw. Since I was only @ 75mg twice a week, it was geeing stabbed a lot. I pre filled 2 weeks worth in syringes (4 @ 75mg), but a new vial should be available in a week hopefully. From now on, I'll just use a 23g needle.
Sorry for replying to such an old post but wanted to say be careful preloading your syringes. A lot of sources will put benzyl alcohol in their oils and, from my understanding break down the rubber on the plunger starting shortly after its in contact with the oil. The laat thing you need is to introduce a piece of rubber into your ass.
Well, unless your into that sort of thing. Lol
Thank you for the reply. I used one that I preloaded 3 days prior, and just threw the rest out.I just had to wait week before the new arrived
When I worry about how clean my oils are you can draw with a filtered pin. Check my reviews and you will find them. I haven't used them on vials but if I crush the top of an amp I use one to make sure im not going to get a shard in my leg.
RustyhookerUsing an 18 is about as caveman as can be. Its hazardous. No, you cant store it.
Preloaded syringes...the rubber on plungers melt and still injecting..... rubber . The ugl brands dont stick to one recipe. The solvents melt things.
Yeah, I'm just gonna stick with the 23g from now on.
Yep this can happen. I watched eo melt the plunger on my sryinge.
RustyhookerCrazy what we do for this sport. Lol
op didnt even respond to last post he made. Looks a spoonfeeder. Probably a kiddie
Probably.
As of now I'm not of the opinion EO is bad despite seeing the syringe melt. I have some test base made with 100% EO and there is zero pip. I even injected virgin muscle and there was next to nothing. I'm still researching though. There's other things allowed in food that are worse.
Well, I preloaded 3 syringes (a week and a half worth) but it we be the middle of next week before a replacement vial will be there. If the stopper looks corroded I will just toss them and wait. Not sure if it contains EO tho. I died leave a small gap between the rubber and the oil. But isn't the top of the vial that its stored in rubber?!!
Typically the stoppers are butyl or silicone, however I've yet to see a ugl fitted with silicone which are very chemical resistant. As for your pre-loaded syringes you'll probably be fine because it's test e, but if you want to be sure hit up your source for what they use.
Awesome, great feedback! I'll find out. Thank you again!
Your welcome.
RustyhookerAgree! Luckily theres easy 10 points to pin. At least it keeps and issue very low
How about just preloading the syringes
