+ 1 Hairloss & Choice of AAS

ad

Hey guys,

So far i've ran just 1 cycle of the standard 500mg Test / week loved the strength gains and solid look / pumps espeically after i got bloat under control with AI.

(I've got very low natty test, barely above the bottom end of "normal" range at the age of 24 so test made me feel pretty good as im sure most of you can appricate) It also gave me a massive appitite, i normally have to really force food down and not enjoy it, trying to hit macros.. so yea really enjoyed the my first cycle.

However naturally without AAS my hair has started thinning and it sped up on test, more so than i had expected.. and i really dont want to dabble with Fina or any DHT inhibitor after reading about the possible sides(i know the risk is low but still will not risk it).

So i know il have to shave my head one day, but id rather have hair for a few more years & and still do a few cycles in that time..

My question is which AAS do you believe to be easier on hair? Im aware ALL AAS will speed up hairloss to some extent on those predisposed to it.

Currently im thinking of running TRT dose test and EQ at maybe 600mg / week for my next cycle as ive read that EQ is less harsh on hair? Opinions on EQ's effect on hair-loss compared to test?

For future reference which other AAS could i consider? is Anavar really easy on hair? Ive read that it is but its DHT based..

Also do you believe that any ester of test has less conversion to DHT? i ask because i read that shorter esters convert less to Estrogen and dont require an AI or less AI depending on the dose / person. So would the same apply short esters conversion rate to DHT?

Appreciate any advice guys, thanks..

I think androgens that interact with 5 alpha reductase, and that convert to a more powerful androgen in large amounts have a bigger role in hairloss than if its just dht derived. More 5ar 2 is found in the scalp than most parts of the body, test 5 alpha reduces to dht, eq reduces to dhb, but to a very small percentage. Also if your genetically predisposed to becoming bald in the future, androgens, strong or weak will just speed up that process.

So you would say eq is less harsh on hair than test? interesting stuff on DHT derived thanks for sharing

I would think eq is less harsh on hairline.

Test reduces to dht
DHT anabolic/androgenic 152/268

Boldenone reduces to DHB
Dihydroboldenone anabolic/androgenic 200/100

But you also have to look at the conversion percentage to its reduced form and its binding to ar once it 5 alpha reduces.

Both my grandads and all my uncles.. how fucked is my hair lol

Good advice i got the DHT blocker + Rogain in one bottle, started using that 4 weeks into first cycle and dont intend to stop, it did make a difference for me, it obviously dont stop it completely though..

Will give saw palmetto a bash thanks bro

EQ has a very similar DHT conversion to testosterone, so TRT test and EQ would make no difference as far as hair loss is concerned. Nandrolone however is much lower, so that seems like a good viable option for you. A lot of people will say you NEED to have test higher or else your dick wont work, which is total bullshit forum science. I know many bodybuilders that have kept test at a trt dose and run pretty high amounts of deca with absolutely no issue. I myself have been as high as a 750mg deca per week will only on 300mg test and my libido was as good as ever.

If i were you and hair loss was a big concern, I would try something like 250-300mg test and 600mg deca or NPP. That would keep DHT conversion lower than if on a higher dosed Test only cycle.

Boldenone converts to DHB, not DHT. I'm not sure of the effects of DHB on hair loss though

While your experiences with low test high nandrolone may be good, I don't think advising someone else on it is a good idea. It's not just bullshit forum science there are plenty of guys who've had this happen. There are exceptions like yourself, but to suggest that to someone could potentially cause major problems for them. Starting with higher test and them maybe lowering it gradually to see what happens would be a little safer don't you agree?

There is still protocol here. One being ask the OP prior exp. He's only had 1 cycle and your advising on low test high deca. He's way to green for this. Another forum rule is complete stats, so you may want to fix yours.

Time to accept the hair loss. I know the struggle though. I even had a hair transplant fund. I buzz my hair down. I was blessed with a good head - no lumps or anything.

Give yourself a trial buzz. You may even like it.

Did a trial buzz about 6 month ago, before my first cycle even.. look like a douche, got an odd shaped crown area lol :(

I know its inevitable but untill i have a noticable bald patch i look better with hair

If you're genetically prone to hair loss, then there really isn't much you can do. Some prevention methods may slow it in some, but not in others. DHT derivatives will increase the loss though.
It's really up to you and how you feel. Give a few preventative products a try and see how you do. Keep your cycles on the conservatived side and that MAY help. Otherwise, you're still destined to go bald, so you might want to embrace it.

Kid, your 24 and already experiencing hair loss. You will be bald within 10 years anyway, might as well be jacked. I would stay away from Mast though. It's notorious for hair loss. Buy yourself some Rogaine shampoo or some DHT blocking shampoo and you can hold on to whats left up there for a while longer, but eventually its all gonna go. Don't worry about it too much, most of your buddies will be catching up to you in the hair loss department by the time they are 30. Trust me...been there.

Although this comment would be looked down upon it made my day.

WTF is wrong exactly with that comment? I keep reading these ballads about the old eroids and how much the community has changed and how folk want to bring back the ambiance of the past . . .

Well, dang, I bet everyone wasn't so damn sensitive in the old days. Gheez, u got to watch everything you say like this is some kind of group therapy session.

Man up men (and ladies)! A remark like that ain't that bad.

But GH, someone really could get offended. Yeah, well, why don't we stop writing anything then.

I found it hilarious but he's 24. Up your letro bro.

Bro, my estro is just peachy. You wouldn't like me if I let it get out of control. LMAO
