-1 Filtering necessary? Look of the oil? Another sachet thread...
Hi Fam,
So I recently got my hands on some gear in sachets (test e) and was really looking forward to getting back on the bike...until I realised how damn hard it was drawing from the sachets!
So a couple of questions:

Has anyone purchased sachets recently in the 10ml sachets and what appearance has it given when you draw from the sachets? Mine appears very light and thin.

Do you recommend filtering sachets? If so, I've technically f&^ked up already by drawing from the sachet straight into a vial so if I need to filter it (which I'm leaning towards a yes) I'm worried I'll lose a little gear from the transfer process into another vial.
As stated above, the drawing process was straight bullshit to be honest and at one stage I had to catch a bit of the gear into a clean (I pray very clean) kitchen bowl. Hence why I'm asking about filtration. Thankfully it doesn't look like any crap got into the gear but I suppose with pathogens etc you just cant tell with the naked eye.
All other sterility precautions were taken i.e. swabbing the vial, packets, new syringes/needles for every transfer and each sachet etc.

What you mean? Unless they have filters that do that. All the ones I’ve ever used were to keep Glass from entering the syringe when drawing up stuff
RustyhookerWhatman filters are mega tiny in porosity. Nothings perfect but this is where sterility is huge. The ba should keep it clean for the most part. The rest is up to the user. If you take a hair off your head and cut it as long as it is thick....thats roughly 25 microns.
But dude should have used huge barrel and filtered from source after thoroughly sanitizing container.

Ha. Yea. I have plenty of alcohol pads to swab the top before drawing anything out.
Shoot. When it comes to sterility. Don’t wanna risk nothing.

Are they like a syringe filter or something different?
Without a scientific mind its a little hard to catch on (in practicality) what I'm meant to do or buy haha

Dominick77So many factors play a part in this and in this case I personally wouldnt bother with the stuff you have. I prefer to inject with a piece of mind knowing my products are sterile and legit. Your stuff might be contamintated since you had to use a kitchen bowl to catch the oil. Filters or not, I wouldnt risk it, but that is me. Next time...

Mate, I also like knowing my gear is 100% sterile and absolute legit. Its not like I enjoy even considering this risk and its mind fucking me.
Its fair to say my gear probably isnt the most sterile now (because of the bowl) but thats why I'm hoping the filtration may assist.
And that video you posted...thats the exact video I used to guide me and it didn't work this time around. As I said in my initial post, I've used this before and it worked so much more smoothly the first time around.
I didn't do anything differently though which is why its so frustrating.
