Crystallization

ad

Hope this is the right place for this question, if not I am sure the Mods will slap me quick enough.

I am new to TRT and have received my gear from the same source so far (second source pending). I had some Cyp crystallize (the last 10% of the vial) and didn't think anything of it, just heated it in a water bath and finished it up.

I have another vial (I think it is from a different run since I received it at a later date) of the same concentration from the same source and it too has crystallized (about 50% left in the vial). I am beginning to think I may be doing something wrong.

The only thing I can think of is - When I insert the needle into the vial I am expelling the tiny amount of air left in the syringe into the vial - could this be causing the crystallization?

Just wanting some advice.

Thanks

I had some from the pharmacy and crystallize and they told me too much air is getting into the bottle. I just put a little water in a coffee mug and heated it for a minute. Dropped the vial in the mug for about 2 minutes and shook it and put it back for 2 more and it was good to go.

If you are TRT whats wrong with the awesome script test you get??

I just had a vial of Test Cyp crystalize as well. It was about 1/2 full. I heated it up with a pin in it to vent and it went back into suspension.

I'll try the Pin trick - Thanks. Mine goes back after a loooong heat but within about 2 hours it is solid again.

Some good news - Source was very accommodating and has agreed to replace it.

It came to u crystallized or it crystallized after u got it?

It crystallized after I opened it - about 3 weeks..

Not enough solvent to hold it in solution. Bad lot, or lack of QC. A good lab will just want a pic and they will reship. In all fairness, though, even really great labs will on occasion have a bad production run. If the lab has a large international customer base, it's gonna hurt them more than it hurts you. LOL Smile

Thanks, I'll contact the source.

How are you storing it? Is it getting cold?

It's stored in a closed cabinet in the bathroom. It does not get steamy or alot of Temp variation.
