Blood pressure on Tbol
ad
Hi. I'm new here. I'm 45 and just started using steroids for the first time. Just to get my feet wet I started with 20mg oral Tbol daily to see how it affected me and I found my blood pressure jump up from about 130/70 to 140/90. This was high enough to cause me to stop after a couple of weeks until I could talk to my doctor about getting BP medicine. Will go in next week. I've read that BP increases are normal with steroid usage, but I'm just wondering if there are some types that are better on BP than others. Any recommendations for keeping it under control?

Thanks everyone for your input. I've learned a lot here. Good news is that I went to the doc with my home blood pressure cuff to compare readings with a professional reading and it turns out the home blood pressure cuff that I'm using has readings that are waaaay off. Doc says my BP is fine and I am going to buy a new cuff. Thanks all!
SlamhamsYou're an idiot
Blood pressure goes up with all steriod cycles you newbie
Rustyhookeroral only cycle? Only if female.
Have you run bloods? Goals? Stats? Need a baseline. Did you pct after tbol?
300 Savage30mg a day of t-bol had my skin and face bright red..People kept asking me if I was sun tanning..oh my god..
I wouldn't use Tbol at all with your bp already that high. My bp was really low before my last cycle of tbol/test. I was at about 98/70. 3-4 weeks into tbol and I was at 138/75! And It didn't start going down(gradually) until about 1-2 months of being off tbol. Needless to say I won't be touching orals ever again.
130/70 is bad to start with buddy you obviously have underlying issues.
Have a good read about...........
Water
Krill oil
Garlic oil capsules
Beetroot juice
Celery or Celery seed extract.
All natural and very affective at keeping blood pressure in check.
What is your body fat %?

There's a lot that I could say. Ultimately, steroids probably aren't for you. If you get that big of an increase in BP from only 20 MG of tbol, that's a pretty bad sign. Having a baseline that's high systolic and 50 points above diastolic is far from ideal.
20 MG of tbol is meaningless to take in terms of benefits. You're only going to shut yourself down. I'd advise reconsideration. Steroids are going to just be a bad idea for your situation.
Blood work is still a good idea. Cut that 20nmg of tbol too. How long have you been taking it?
