+ 2 Whats the best gear for MMA training?
Getting big is something I'm really not concerned with. I see all too many times guys that come in all jacked and get their ass handed to them because they dont have any wind. Its kinda shocking to see a guy 170lbs, natural, manhandle someone 225lbs on gear. Yet it happens weekly where I train. I'm curious if anyone has experience with gear that contributed in improving fighting technique and endurance. Not into bulk or trying to powerlift. I'm not interested in using it to gain the advantage over another fighter, I'm interested in something that will assist in advancing my personal ability with training and perfecting technique. Helping to keep gas in the tank and form strong, improving as an individual. There may not be something that can help, I'm just asking if anyone has experienced products that have helped. thanks for your input.

56tooIf you added more muscle u wld have to fight a different weight class. In my opinion, it's years of practice, practice, practice and yeah, you should weight train but for fighting I wouldnt think you would get into gear. I did martial arts almost 40 yrs ago. I did it for so long that even now 40 yrs later I still know the Japanese names of the techniques and still know how to execute them.
yea, i was just curious if anyone had utilized any particular form of gear to maximize their potential. I've stepped away from tradition weight training and I recently started doing cross-fit which seems to be a perfect match for MMA. Ive been doing MMA for a while and always interested in anything to improve. I was really thankful a friend introduced me to cross-fit. I thought i was in shape, until the day I tried that.
I was a professional boxer in my younger days and no there is no steroid Thats gonna improve your technique lol you either got it in ya or you dont!!! Training is the only thing Thats gonna improve technique!!! I never used gear when i was fighting but the only thing i Wouldve used is test!!! How old are you
I was just thinking, there are certain muscles you use in each technique and if you could strengthen those muscles then technique would improve. I'm over 40 and my test is in the 400 range. i want to stay away from anything that would slow me down and because test has water retention characteristics i was skeptical. Drive and intensity would be a welcome addition though...yea, maybe the natural approach is best
NastyNateSeafood and chicken!!!!
Test.... I mean thats what i think you would only need.
Do you have experience with a particular test product. Prop, enanthate, primo, cyp?
