Is Connor a better boxer than anyone that Floyd has caught in his 49 previous fights? He would rant at the very bottom of that list in every category. That's a fact. It's a fun show and that's it.

Not a real fight IMO. Opportunity for money for all involved. Id be suprised if either fighter is actually in it to win. Smarter for Connor to win a close one so a rematch could gain traction. Smoke and mirrors to get that money.
The promos have been awful. Rocky IV level cheesiness. I won't be watching. But I'll read about it after the fact. At least it'll be a nice break from hearing about Kaepernick and his acolytes, if only for a few hours. Of course I think Mayweather will win.
Both cocky prick, both deserve to be knocked out. But Connor is making his pro boxing debut against the best pound for pound fighter out there. Connor trains to win a fight by being able to hit a guy almost anywhere. Floyd has spent his life finding ways to git a guy inside a 36in box. They will go the distance or at least deep but in the end i think Floyd will come out. The wildcard is Connors strength. If he gets a rogue shot in the right spot and kos floyd. Whoa, a lot of us will cash in.
You got it right i used to box and maywheather will go all the way and fight safe with the art of winning by points.
McGregor has the reach and if he can land an open punch he can definitely knock out maywheather early. Its the only chance he has to win he is going to come out swinging and that leaves him open to a knock out.

I boxed a little 20 yrs ago in the service myself. Never went far but it was an experience. I love the sport though. The skill, the stamina the excitement when someone is about to finish their opponent off. I dont know about a 96 million dollar bet but I'm doing a bit of online betting. I came back to this thread because I watched the weigh in and boy I tell you I dont feel as good about Mayweather beating him as Indid yesterday. I honestly think Connors confidence has gotten to Floyd. He disnt say a word at the staredown and when he was interviewed he seemed timid. We'll see I suppose. I do not underestimate his skill Im just wondering if Connor has the stamina and tenacity to pound away at him for 12 full rounds. He may not knock him out but the kid is so confident you cant help but believe him when he says he will knock him out in 4. Maybe I'll throw a little on a ko in the 4th 1 place had certain round kos +3300 for macgregor
McGregor knockout will be 3rd or 4th
The first 2 rounds there just going to feel each other out then 3rd McGregor will come out hard if he hasn't knocked him out by the 5th he will be to tired to go all thd way and win the decision but its really his only chance in my opinion early round knock out.

I do respect his level of confidence. He is one man that will enter the ring and not fear Mayweather
