So in regards to the big debate on the upcoming Paul vs Tyson fight (assuming it happens). I decided to check the betting odds. It seems as the majority of the community are of the belief that Jake Paul is a joke, and that a 57 year old Mike Tyson is going to completely annihilate him without a shadow of a doubt. I love to see people make money, so here you are. Easy money grab for everyone as it seems y’all got the inside scoop that Mike’s victory is a forgone conclusion….thank me later boys!!!

Don't know what to make of this shit. I'll stream it for free, but I'll be damned if I pay for a Jake Paul fight. Man needs to start fighting active boxers and maybe, just maybe he will earn some respect. Truth be told, I think he will ride this wave as long as possible, gaining valuable experience as long as possible in hopes that he does make it to a higher stage and level... Money has bought him a free pass, jump the line instead of fighting up through amateur ranks and proving his skillsets against actual boxers. Just my 2 cents.

It's just also hard to believe based on Tysons beliefs and ego, that he would step into a ring with a guy like Jake and not be in it to try to knock his head off. I suppose money can make anyone do just about anything. And... age is most certainly such a huge factor that many overlook. Even if Tyson is in better shape than most of his age, has tremendous experience, the brain is much more fragile, fatigue and stamina and recovery are also all diminishing.. To what degree? Who knows.

100% I think he's an athlete for sure. Both Paul brother's are athletes and that's very clear. But it's insane and disrespectful to even discuss his name amongst boxers that have fought since childhood through amateur ranks and then the very few who go on to have top level pro experience.

I think the kid is a marketing genius, and he is making a lot of has beens a lot of money with these ridiculous fights. Now he’s pulled off his biggest achievement to date. Everyone will be watching this fight that night. It will be like the superbowl with Taylor Swift as the halftime show. Just look how we’re all talking about this now, and we’re months away from the actual fight. This will be one of the biggest pay-per-view events ever. A lot of money being made that night, in a thousand different ways. At the end of the day, Jake Paul will be wealthier than ever. Good for him though. I can’t hate a guy for being smart, and it’s almost nice to see someone beat the corrupt powers that be.
@JakeKO Yea but I'm pissed at Tyson for even allowing this dude to fight him. Alot of the pro boxers are mad as hell as well. Thing is both guys are good friends. Just hard to believe they'll be serious in that fight. Just a sparring session that's all. Hell maybe even scripted.

I agree, but it’s all about the money to all these guys. None of them ever made any real money during their successful careers, especially Tyson because Don King and everyone else completely ripped him off. He was a great fighter, but a dumb businessman. That’s what Rocky 5 was about. Tommy Gun was actually portraying Tyson and what happened to him. Nate Diaz and Anderson Silva both admitted to being underpaid by the UFC, so I can’t blame them for jumping all over Jake Paul’s offer. It’s like, fighting was their life, so how can they make any money these days? Landscpaing, perhaps, LOL. Now I’m sure that Tyson has cut a much better profit split with Jake Paul on this fight, because it’s his name that is really going to pull numbers on the pay per view earnings, not to mention all the merchandising and advertising profits that will be just as profitable as the pay per view payout. It’s down right genius. Although, when it’s all said and done, I truly believe that Mike has way too much pride to take a dive for this kid, even if he previously agreed to. The psycho in him will unleash, and it’s going to be very painful for Jake. Everyone is talking about Mike gassing out, although I think Jake will be completely hurt and punch drunk by the third round. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this pans out. Like I said, I really hope Jake doesn’t suffer any permanent injuries.

Well you do have a point about it not being scripted because Mike WILL and can break the script whenever he feels like it and that's exactly what he'll do if it is a set up fight. The guy is still capable of snapping no doubt. Thing is at this moment Tyson doesn't need the money because he's doing better financially now than ever, besides when he was Champ. The guy is in a happy place personally, financially, socially and he has no business entertaining this WANNABE boxer lol! Yes a WANNABE. Now Jake has beaten a few old guys and he has good beginner skills however....there's LEVELS to this!

@NWApatches @ chad P ok Jake Paul does have some skills no doubt. He's beaten some guys that I thought he couldn't beat but honestly that's as far as it's going to go seriously. Alot of guys hate Jake and don't give him credit but I'll give him whatever credit he deserves but that credit will never be that he's an elite level boxer like many think. That would be so disrespectful to the top pro boxers now, Hall of Fame boxers, Legends and most importantly the sport of boxing itself.

My thoughts exactly. Mike is going to take a hard blow that will enrage him, and then it’s all over for Jake. All bets will be off at that point and it’s going to be a site to see. Anyone that grew up watching Tyson, and really paid attention to his behavioral patterns will understand where I’m coming from. He’s never going to be able to calm himself down if he feels Jake hit him harder than they agreed to. He fucking bit Holyfield’s ear off. There was nothing fake about that level of psycho. But his hands are faster and he has the ability to KO Jake Paul and that's a fact thats being overlooked for whatever reason. Jake Paul is a good beginner fighter, he's NOT A PRO lol. He wasn't good enough to beat Tommy Fury who isn't close to being a top boxer and he barely beat an old Anderson Silva and those were his toughest opponents. The only chance Jake could have is to tire Mike out and take him into the deep waters. It has nothing to do with Mike not being able to handle Jake's power. Gotta look at facts and nothing else.

Just for some context, Tysons last professional fight was June 11 2005, he was 38 years, 346 days old. He retired in the 6th round. His fight was against a journeymen named Kevin McBride who has 0 wins on his resume against anyone with a Wikipedia page, besides one person….that person is Mike Tyson. The killer you all think Tyson is now, was already gone when he was still fighting, almost 20 years ago….
Just for content. You have to be fair.....Jake Paul's toughest opponents have been Tommy Fury and an old Anderson' Silva. Jake barely beat an old Silva and lost to Fury who isn't even a top ranked boxer. Not sure if he's even a professional boxer....well he's an English pro boxer. Bottom line is Jake isn't anywhere near to being a top ranked pro boxer and even Floyd Mayweather has stated that. It's simply a fantasy from Jake Paul fans. And yes he does have good beginner skills, just not elite skills. As far as Tyson, he's not the same Tyson due to age but those characteristics are still there to some extent and that's obvious. Video of training and the testimony of Roy Jones is all the proof that's needed. So to reduce Tyson to being a weak 57 year old is foolish.

Tyson was sick of fighting g by the time he fought Kevin and got with that Australian coach and changed his entire style in that fight. He was in it for just money as far back before the Lewis fight when he did his u.k fights.
After Lewis he had nothing left not physically but mentally. He knew the writing was on the wall and stepped away at the right time.
To think he isn't in a much better place mentally than in 2005 you've gotta be crazy. If this is fun again he will at least look good until he doesn't and there truly is a chance he might get a stoppage win.

I absolutely did watch boxing and did watch the fight. I also watched Mike get ko’d the fight prior. The fact remains he quit against against a can crusher 20 years ago. Y’all all act like he somehow has tapped into the fighter he was in his early 20’s. He looked good against a retired Roy Jones who was a shell of himself 10 years prior to this fight. Like I said, we can revisit this after the fight and see who was right and who was wrong.
