+ 5 Health emergency

ad

Wasn’t sure where to post this, I figured I can’t go wrong in the newbie corner. I had a conversation about steroids with a coworker, she had suspected I use them but wasn’t sure and decided to ask. It was a great conversation, very friendly and I was able to answer questions she had concerning a former boyfriend she had that used PEDs but was generally an asshole on and off of them. The question was asked about unfortunate health risks, particularly immediate onset complications and what would I do. So here goes, my wife and my mother are my emergency contacts, and although I have given complete breakdowns in the past of every drug I was on at the time, they will let EMTs know I’m a steroid user and can give at least the recent drugs I’ve used. My wife can of course disclose all as she knows where everything is kept. Where I’m going with this is everyone should have a plan in place should you run into a situation where you cannot communicate. I’m not recommending what I do as everyone’s relationships differ with loved ones and family, but we all should have a person or other method of letting medical personnel know what’s in your body. Blood will be drawn, but they will not be looking for most of the drugs we use. A hormone panel will certainly not be given, nor needed at that point, but you see where I’m going with this. Make sure, especially if you’re using aggressive drugs that you have a way to let your usage be known should the unforeseen happen. Stay safe everyone.

I hear ya, and my wife is well informed. She would probably be better off with the life insurance I have in her name. She doesn’t even know about it. Her and her boyfriend can live happily ever after until it runs out.

My policy for the wife includes a pamphlet for the new boyfriend. On exactly how she likes the "D"

I think it says something about being open with those immediately around you. I think that we all know here that what we do isnt like shooting heroin or smoking meth but society may view PEDS in the same light. Giving those around us medical info and history not only allows them to help us if anything happened and that info became relevant, but also shows how much research and care goes into "responsible" PED use. Maybe when people understand more about it, it changes their view on PED use.

I may not have been specific enough guys, of course the average or usual testosterone guy isn’t going to run into these issues. Someone who is using Furosemide to get ready for a show? Or to be completely dumb and use it for a holiday? This is how the bad stories get lumped into “steroid” usage. Responsibility is all I’m preaching here, and having a backup plan. If a guy was on benzodiazepines for anxiety and snapped his leg in a motorcycle accident… let’s say he’s on 2mg Klonopin twice daily for the anxiety, then after the injury was prescribed 4mg Dilaudid IV, there’s a risk of fatality. Some of the drugs we use carry the same risks. There’s a point where honesty counts.

Oh wait! On the main forum i did not see the peds added in illicit narcotics plus medics adding more narcotics. Thats not ped use. Thats narcitics abused. My apologies as i did not realize we were talking ficticious drug abusers.

I used to train in a gym fella that owned it was a Pro who had won quite a few major comps. This meant on off-season regularly bulking up to proper honey monster size like 30 stone if I remember correctly he always preached using lowest possible Dosage ages and that training intensity and nutrition where two most important factors. Well he picked up different injuries here and there along his journey to winning these pro shoes including one of the biggest this meant some major adaptation in training to allow for them and he wasn’t old. He ended up needing to go in for surgery and thankfully had health insurance which isn’t that common over here and was booked in to to go for an opp to remove a kidney stone or gallstone can’t remember which tbh. Anyway he gave the doctors and surgeons a run down of what he did as far as Bodybuilding and use of Peds in advance which led them to have a whole extra team on hand in surgery in case of issues as the surgeons said people in his position especially but even people who train regularly and use Peds have an increased risk of issues when going under anaesthetic. Lol long story I know but getting to the point while under in his routine surgery the worst did happen and his body started to struggle and he flat ligned now it was only for the fact that he had warned them of everything he was doing in advance they had the extra specialist team in hand and where able to act quickly and save his life and he came out other side safe and actually able to go back to bodybuilding in the end. Ultimately his honesty saved his life. They said the complications arouse from an enlarged heart from the years of training and Ped use so when going under anaesthetic at all I personally would disclose everything even though not at anywhere near his level the docs and surgeons told him you be amazed at the issues that can arrize in even much smaller people and going under anaesthetic so they really do like to be aware so they can have extra measures in place that may just save your life

There is a good reason beyond test levels and estrogen for blood work. Private bloodwork is good, seeing an endocrinologist or gp is better..

Adding significant poundage to a skeletal frame makes organs work harder.. done slowly they tend to adapt, but quickly causes stress.

Get bloodwork, think about your heart, your kidneys, your liver…

Well yeah if your living on the edge and taking things like clen that can be useful for somebody to know but most things it's.not gonna matter if someone knows cuz besides a few dangerous things, steroids dont have immediate health effects that are deadly and the knowledge is not going to affect the outcome of your health emergency. I understand what you mean by the post but this post is meant for a very few specific things like clen or taboo, and I'm sure there's one or 2 more things that I can't think of off the top of my head. It's a good post but needs to be way more specific than letting people know your a steroid user because unless the EMT is a knowledgeable steroid user they aren't gonna think of things like clean or taboo and things of that nature.

Wondering what was the immediate health risk? Everyone should keep benedryl incase theres anaphslaxis. But I cannot picture any emergency. Too much estrogen and your nipples baloon. Crash estrogen and cannot stay awake. Curious as to what happened to where you would dump out your steroid stash and risk freedom?

Drexyl's picture

Clenbuterol, you wind up AFIB, emergency response arrives and after reading your stats administers a drug (won’t speak specifics) that is an antagonist. Now you’re in cardiac arrest. The responders have no idea why a drug that should’ve stabilized you has now stopped your heart. My bro, I’m not just talking testosterone, some of us here ingest powerful compounds, some drugs don’t agree with others. Let’s keep things positive here, best wishes bro.

So if you abuse drugs and afib meanwhile wifes showing your stash plus added weaponry and you live theres 20years in the pen. Positive notes is dont abuse drugs. And i would bet that what law enforcement determines as sales plus firearms allots a large penalty. Friend arrested recently for sales with 2 bottles of sustanon. He is facing serious time. Add in weaponry and theres a huge new issue. If an average home end user has ten bottles, orals, hgh, clen as you state then its lights out.

There's a million reasons you could get caught with stuff, it's the risk we take.

According to you, it's a better off dead than in jail type thing it seems. I have no problem doing a little bit of time. I'm the type that gets into a fight the first day there

My wife is my everything as well. She knows how to talk to and address both groups as well lol.
As far as my stuff, that's secured in a separate safe, that I only have access to, to clear legal culpability on her. Wink

So now that we all cleared that. Question. Imagine being married to a girl not cool with it and having to lie, sneak, and cant even buy it without having to hide money?

Ooof. That would be super hard. No way. With all the required "stuff" needed, the jump in appearance, mood variance, etc....she would catch on eventually. Mines OK with it for most part. She hates the extra attention it pulls and she's fast to snap me back when I lose my shit for nothing on full cycle lol. But very supportive with my diet and tries to accommodate the sides and workouts. Lets me take up space in bathroom for my crap and puts up with the soaked sheets too.
I take it you've been there ? I'm sure many have. I can see ways to ease the explanation and subject in.

It’s funny, aside from my limited use as a teen early 20’s, I wound up with crashed testosterone from a medication reaction. Well not reaction, let’s say meditation improperly prescribed. Fast forward, after bloodwork, I was prescribed TRT, got my “life” back. After that my wife who always shit on the thought of such things opened her mind. As long as I don’t get too big, she’s fine with it. I respect her opinion as she’s not attracted to ridiculous amounts of muscle, but she respects me wanting to carry more than most athletic men. My peak was roughly 6’1”, 235lbs, at reasonably 13/14%BF. I looked like sloth from the goonies. Her words for dbol is “that Beetlejuice head shit”. Yeah, my head looks like a pea. But she knows what I take and knows what to tell the EMTs to keep me alive. I have a good woman. God must love me a little bit.

Ive been with a wife that objected to it, found my 23g and told the town i was "shooting up," left out the part about steroids. Wife #2 dont mind, supports me and even gave in and did some anavar. Even tried clen but that only lasted 12hrs. She threw it out.

I had to educate mine. Get her past a lot of BS stereotype bad info. The she started to see what it really was. She’s on glutide from one of the sources and doing awesome, almost down to her target weight she wants, which I think is too much, but ok. Looks amazing. I have some low dose Anavar, I’m sure she’ll want to give that a go again, better prepared this time lol.
