Test Levels
ad
Hi all,
I’m 33 and been experiencing symptoms of low test. Lifestyle if good, I go to the gym 3 times per week and eat well.
I’ve had a finger prick test done and the results are below:
Albumin: 46.9 g/l
Free Test: 0.298 nmol/l
SHGB: 27.4 nmol/l
Test: 13.9 nmol/l
Would I benefit from TRT?
Cheers

How much different are your test results from previous? Do you follow the recommendations to prepare for the test (no significant physical activity 24 hours before blood sampling, moderate water intake, empty stomach, etc. ) ?
I haven’t tested before and never been on test before. I got them tested due to low test symptoms.
Your levels are within the acceptable range. This contradicts your assumptions.
You don't have any info indicating that your testosterone levels have been consistently declining over time (no previous blood test results). With these numbers and just a single test, it's too early to consider TRT.
I noticed you didn’t mention anything about preparation for the test. You may think it’s not important, but taking a blood test the day after a workout essentially means your results will be inaccurate (with lower testosterone levels).
You might need to retake the tests, prepare for them properly, and make conclusions then. For me, a neeed for TRT at 30 years old seems to be unusual.
Convertered test is 400 and free test 8
I think all mankind will benefit from TRT but i dont know enough about your physical readiness so i can say. And nmol/l is a different formula for me and too lazy to calculate lol
