+ 11 ARE YOU TRULY READY TO RUN A CYCLE
I have been on this site for just a few weeks and just like others I’ve seen the one constant here is young men wanting to run cycles without any real comprehension of what it truly involves. The one difference with Eroids is that there is an abundance of knowledge here that is available to any and all who want to run a cycle correctly. So with that said, let’s just cover the basic necessities. First and foremost are the stats, you know – weight, height, age, BF and cycle history. These particulars are extremely important because not only will they reveal if you are ready for one but also what type of cycle to run based on what your goals are. And if you’re like most young men that I’ve seen here, well YOU’RE NOT READY! However, don’t let this discourage you. The intent here is not to discourage but merely to enlighten and educate you. You see what you are about to do is completely unnatural and foreign to the function of your body. You are about to relieve your body of it’s ability to control your endocrine system and other body functions and place that control entirely into your hands. Yes, we are sort of playing the mad scientist. So then would it not be wise to make certain that we have done the abundance of research that is necessary and have all of the particulars covered. Of course there are a few what ifs that we just don’t know about also. What if my compounds are underdosed, overdosed, fake, unforeseen sides, fatigue, stress, mentally, physically and emotionally? What about my relationships, family and work? There are so many things to be considered and the main ones are as follows.
SOURCES, do you have a reliable and dependable source to order all of your compounds from?
PATIENCE, do we have the patience and knowledge that is required to run a cycle correctly and effectivel?.
FINANCE, are my monies in order because you are gonna have to get blood work before, during and after your cycle in order to monitor you levels and make adjustments where needed? You will need to have a proficient diet in place if you are to realize and maintain your gains and that takes cash.
DISCIPLINE, is a must for both diet and training because this is a lifestyle that requires you to adhere to a specific regimen of both.
REST, are you going to be able to get in the proper amount of sleep and time off that your muscles need in order to grow?
PHYSICAL-MENTAL are you ready both physically, mentally and emotionally to deal with the constraints and stress that could arise from the changes taking place in you body both OCT and PCT? Let’s not forget to factor the work place in also.
These are just a few points to consider before embarking on running a cycle and I’m sure that there a lot that I’ve missed. But the intention here is to raise the awareness level regarding the severity of running a cycle. This is not to be taken lightly because we only have one life and if we are going to alter it’s mechanism then we need to be damn well informed and prepared to make sure it runs correctly . As I stated earlier there is an abundance of knowledge here at Eroids that is being shared by those with experience so why not take advantage of it and learn all you possibly can then make a conscientious decision of the direction you want to take. There’s more to it than just pinning compounds and expecting to grow. It’s just as a few experienced ones here have said. It’s A Lifestyle!!!!!

Good points on the diet and sleep. Adding more into my routine.
AnonGlad you could pull something positive from it to help you..
scorpion2bravothis is a very good thread, some people think that they can just use aas and become huge overnight w/o training properly or dieting right. this should shed some light on those who dont really know what they are doing, i think the issue is some ppl let there pride get in the way whn it comes to this subject or they are embarrassed to ask questions. this is what this place is for brothers, we are here to help each other and guide one another into the right direction, if one person does not have an answer to your question, i know for sure some one else will. the military taught me no question is a dumb question (common sense implied here) because the answer to the question might save your life... i really liked reading this thread bro, good stuff
AnonI feel what you're saying. I think that today's generation is stuck on wanting it now and not wanting to hear about the time, dedication or discipline that is required to get the best results. It's unfortunate but I guess it's all just part of life's lessons!!! Glad you enjoyed the read.
I like this post a lot. Over the past year or so when running a cycle has been a thought of mine I started hitting forums and doing my research. Without people like you posting articles like this I would have for sure rushed into it instead of first changing a lot of things I was doing wrong, and probably causing a lot of damage to my body. My diet was off, my body hadn't hit any sort of plateau that I couldn't work through, and on top of that I wasn't in a good place mentally to be even considering cycling. I hope this does get some more notice because I have seen some friends do some irreversible damage because they just wanted to "get big fast". Keep it up Bigg
AnonThanks JMein, will do!!!

I am taking this into the MOD forum for a discussion about making it a sticky.
AnonGood Idea
That's why I bumped it when I found it.
AnonI just wanted let you how humbled and honored I am that you and your contemporaries would find this worthy of posting as a sticky. It's good to know that it is well recieved and appreciated. Thanks again to you, Viking and others:)

As steroids have, and will always receive a bad rep from the media, you would think someone would do the needed research before injecting a substance into their body. another irritating thing to hear is people ordering half, or only partial of their cycle because of finances. I feel like you have already set yourself up for failure with that mentality. This sport alone requires full mental focus and complete preparation.
AnonBUMP
Eroids!!....by far the best AAS community on the web. I'm looking @ starting my 1st ever cycle in December and have been researching gear since June 2012, shout outs to Super D Bag and Perses for helping to show me the way. The Posts are very informative with this one being no exception bro and most of the bros here keep it real, they tell you what you need to hear, fuck what you wanna! I really appreciate that and count myself honored to be counted as a member of this community.
AnonThanks my brother and all the best with your 1st.
