Unorthodox beginners cycle

ad

I want to hear your opinions on this 'cycle", which is really just me dipping my toes in the water and seeing if AAS are for me. I'm a health professional and have a decent background knowledge on physiology and pharmacology, but don't know as much about AAS as I'm sure most of you do.

I have started an anavar only cycle at 20mg twice daily, for 4-6 weeks. One week in. I understand I will make minimal gains and likely lose a lot of it afterwards, and that it will shut me down. I also understand test is the base of all cycles and I should have started there. I would have done a proper beginner test cycle first, but I wanted to be able to pull out quickly if AAS are not for me/if i got sides etc (which i wouldn't be able to do with enanthate lets say).
I have done pre cycle bloodwork.
My plan for PCT was Clomid 100mg daily 3 days after anavar finishes, stepping down to 50mg and 25mg after 1 week each.

Now I know im gonna get flamed for an oral only cycle with no test base etc etc. I know. I understand the risks, which to be honest I consider low since its Anavar, and im likely to get my natural test back with the short duration of cycle and subsequent PCT.

Now the big question is, I also have access to a 5% testosterone cream (50mg per mL), which I am considering applying scrotally. NOT to enhance the cycle or add any extra gains, but purely to act as a mild TRT dose to satisfy my body's needs for some bioidentical testosterone and estrogen. What are your thoughts on running the cream starting (currently) one week into the cycle?
If i were to run the cream, how would you do it? duration and dose etc.
Or should I just stick to the shitty oral only anavar cycle after all.

And yet here you are running an oral only cycle Dash 1

Look I know, im really just trying get some experienced opinions on the dilemma i currently face.
Should I stick with the var only since im 1-2 weeks in?
Or should I add the androforte cream at 50-100mg daily (not for extra gains, just to maintain healthy physiological levels)
Without telling me why this is a twisted and stupid cycle, what would you do in this situation?

You should stop taking 40mg of anavar a day, buy more anavar and test, then run proper protocol.

Look man whats done is done Im gonna see it thru till the end of the four weeks.
Still, no one seems to be able to answer what would be better/healthier: test cream or no test cream

The healthiest thing to do is stop.

If you want affirmation take the cream… you’re going to do what you want to do anyway.

Should start with test p. Low dose of your worried keep it around a trt dose and then bring it up to where you are comfortable 400-500mgs a week and bump the anavar to 50mg a day. Both have short half life easy to pull out with. Or kick the anavar completely and just use test for a while you will see good results from your first cycle of test alone.

How does a health professional not know these answers?

I have used the cream, it does work better on the scrotum. However, nothing beats oil IM. That is my experience alone. Also, you are running one of the most expensive orals there are at a dose that will more than likely do nothing. What is the point? If you are going to be dumb, at least be dumb with dianabol.

To be fair, 99.9% of health professionals will not have these answers. Most of us on here know wayyyyy more then most health care workers about hormones and injections. Only an endocrinologist is gunna know anything and they’re not gunna know anything about these non-prescription drugs. Most doctors only know what the pharmaceutical company pamphlets tell them.

You need to give those health professionals a little more credit than that Lol

Lmao I know, there great when you need them and everything, but most have a pretty basic understanding of steroids. Lol I didn’t mean to make them sound like idiots, they’ve saved my life before, and helped others in my family a lot so I usually have nothing but great things to say about them, except when it comes to drugs lmao

Good point +1. I still give Health Care professionals credit but yea they won't always have the answers. Guys still need to get those medical check ups.

Ya I didn’t mean to sound like I was bashing them, there great and most of the time know what there doing. I just think sometimes people put too much faith in them and forget they’re just human too. Also I think some of you guys on here know far more then most doctors out there about AAS, nutrition, and training. A lot of there knowledge on these subjects is pretty basic or outdated.

Us members try and do our best but I understand.

I don’t disagree! Sometimes life experience trumps what you read in a book.

I guess I find it weird when individuals ask questions then provide an answer.

If you’re not willing to commit to injecting, then AAS are not going to be for you. Your argument about using anavar as a guinea pig doesn’t make sense. You need to first of all see how you mentally and physically respond to a supraphysiological amount of testosterone, since it should always be present in a cycle. There is no way around this. A short ester would allow you to “pull out quickly” as well
