Bad at research. Looking for advice on my first cycle to get going in the gym
ad
Im roughly 5'9 and 136 lbs. Its my 2nd week in the gym, I work construction for a living so I consider Ive got a decent base to start hitting weights. Looking to bulk up quick with Test is my first thoughts. Any advice or push in the right direction would be huge for me. TIA

No doubt getting diet on track an appetite for the first time , will taje the advice its much appreciated and noted ty
Brother, you’re gonna get strong as fuck on the roids. Your muscles are gonna push more than your tendons can handle. You’re looking at a whole plethora of injuries. Train first and get that diet in check. Coming from one construction worker to another, I know your diet isn’t on par and that’s what matters brother. Hopefully you take this in and go with it. It’s your body at the end of the day, we’re just making sure you’re going back home the same as you went in.
thank you for some real guidence. Maybe a better question would have been WHEN to start. ty
you're 25? This is your first time really being in a gym?
You're going to make massive gains up front, if you work construction, I assume you're one of those wiry guys, so you might already be strong. Just focus on what you eat next, whatever you're eating, add 20% (or more if you can). Dirty bulk a bit. During the night, you can try my old bulking secret, a 1/4 jar of peanut butter, one scoop at a time, down it with water or milk if your stomach can handle it. I call them vegan oysters. You'll get in massive amounts of calories at the end of the day that way.
Rather than replacing your diet, add to it with real food like meat and potatoes, unless your diet is meth, monster and mcdonalds, in which case you should change it completely.
In the gym, lift for strength, normally i'd say hypertrophy but you work construction, you want usable muscles and if you're strong, you'll be big as well. Look up Rippetoes and follow that
wow looking for advice not dick comments thanks to anyone with real advice.
Man up. Some of those "dick comments" is your advice. Crude, but true non the less. They're only trying to save pvt Brian.
sounds like you're missing rusty as well now :(
136lbs.....2nd wk in gym.....steroids......
You seen Larry Wheels is in hospital with Rhabdo?! @Makwa
Prayers go out to him. That shit is the worst.
Creatine, protein powder, bcaa, food, not in that order.
Troll elsewhere pvtbrian...and have a nice day!
Buddy for now just get steroids out of your head, they are for 18 months to 2 years down the line IF you still have the same desire and energy you have for training right now. Get on a basic training programme such as Stronglifts 5 x 5 and concentrate on your 4 main lifts such as Bench press, Squats, Deads and Overhead press then also barbell curls too. Concentrate on getting all of these lifts stronger each week and in time your bodyweight will come - you can easily get another 25lb's naturally on top of what you are right now. Eat everything you possibly can, lots of carbs, protein, calories etc and throw in shakes on top of the food. Creatine and EAA's can pretty much simulate being on steroids with initial bulk if you use them properly and stick with them. Do not get involved in steroids right now at the start of your lifting career because once you have run them even just once - your own hormonal system never returns to the way it once was, its just never as good. Only venture down this road once you have driven to that gym 4 to 5 times a week EVERY WEEK for at least a year and have proved to yourself this is not just a fleeting interest at this moment in time.
5'9 carrying 136 pounds. Brother FOOD should be your focus and not steroids. I mean 136 is very ,very light weight. You may be the first individual I've seen at that weight who has ever asked about steroids. So my man I cannot recommend juice for you, I just can't. This is for your own good, trust me. What has been said to you below is your best bet. But this is just my opinion and nothing more.
Second week "ever" in the gym? Or recently?
Why go straight to steroids, you haven't made your beginner gains yet or even know what you're doing.
You haven't even started your bodybuilding journey and you're already looking for shortcuts, that's not a good sign.
At 5'9 136lb you can easily bulk 20lbs over the next few months, no steroids required.
I don't mean to be rude, but people here sure as hell aren't going to reply kindly to your request for advice given the information you've provided, I'm going easy on you here.
Here is the push in the right direction:
Spend the next year actually learning how to work out & making it an integral part of your life. It has to become routine, let's say 3 days a week for 1-1.5 hours, and during that week you hit every muscle group and get home exhausted. Meanwhile you're learning to eat more food, chugging protein powder, cooking nutritious meals suitable for making gains, and tracking your weight gain over time. Follow online fitness communities or get a trainer/gym buddy if you need help getting everything going and feeling confident in your ability to make progress. The gains you'll make in this year alone will do wonders for your strength, physique, self-confidence, etc, and later down the line you can reassess if adding in performance enhancing drugs is even required for your goals.
I hope that helps.
Lifted-presence92I’ll entertain you attention seeking man child!
1250 test
700 tren
100 mg abombs daily
12-16 weeks.
EDIT: SARCASM. ADVICE NOT TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY
And watch someone take that info seriously. Damn shame lol
It'd be an interesting science experiment to see what the hell would happen to a skinny noob's body on that cycle. Lmao
2g of injectables/week to get a 185lbs bench with full-body cystic acne and blood pressure at 160, that's killer gains!
Lifted-presence92Lmfao bro he’d shock his CNS and probably feel extremely lethargic very similar symptoms to the flu.
