Anavar With a Testosterone Base – Cutting Phase & Future Deca Plans
Just started test again. I ran it about a year ago and felt great. I was at 150 mg/week then, and this time its about 300mg split into 2 shots IM week
Before I started ( I went from 205 lbs down to 165 lbs from 5-1-26 to 8-27-26) My main focus right now is still cutting and getting as lean as possible while holding onto/building muscle.
My diet has been extremely consistent. Since May, I’ve completely cut out junk food and fast food. No soda either—pretty much just water. Most days my diet is centered around grilled chicken and rice, keeping calories controlled and hitting around 180g of protein every day.
I’m currently training 5 days a week and staying consistent with both lifting and diet.
I also started Anavar at 30 mg/day—10 mg in the morning and 20 mg around 8 PM before my workout. The current plan is to run it for a total of 12 weeks alongside the testosterone. ( should I do longer or shorter )
I’m also taking vitamins/supplements daily and trying to stay on top of my overall health while doing this.
After this, if I get my body-fat percentage where I want it and all of my bloodwork comes back looking good, my next goal would be to transition into more of a building phase around December. I’m considering running Deca with a testosterone base at that point, but only if my health markers and body composition are in a good place.
For those who have been doing this for a while, what are some things you wish you knew when you started? Anything you would add, change, or make sure I’m keeping a close eye on especially while the main goal is getting leaner without sacrificing muscle?

Anavar for 12 weeks isnt a good idea
Trt dose is plenty to maintain muscle while in a cut, more anabolics isn’t the solution to a simple cut. Up the cardio, and consider adding a glp1 to help make the deficit easier. Then when you’re ready to bulk, that’s when you up the test. Good luck brother
Well said brother. Hopping on tons of gear don't necessarily guarantee results.
