green tops vs brown tops

I have seen a few posts where some said that green tops are just as good as brown tops. is this actually true? if so, then why are brown tops usually more expensive? I really wouldnt have anything to compare because I have only tried green tops.

Greens are just bigger kits. Per iu theyre cheaper because theyre buying in bulk
The greens I have seen are about twice as much but in 200 iu while the browns are 100 iu, but basically being greens cheaper per 100 iu. At least on the few sources I have seen. I'll have to look around more.
Variations in blood work I have seen hasn't been much of a difference between the two. Seems like if they are produced from the same raws at the same lab, they should be the same right? Pricing I have seen is usually green tops are twice as much as browns.
