Reta or Tirzepatide?

ad

I have been going back and forth on which one of these would be better to start with. I have never taken a GLP before. I want to lose approx 25-30lbs. I am currently 6' and weigh 235lbs. I have run gear for years, Test Cyp, Var, Dbol, Etc. I have also run HGH before. I have a lot of muscle, but too much fat as well. Most of my extra weight sits on my stomach. I lift 5 or 6 days per week and have been tracking macros for a few about a month now. I want to shed the fat, but Def want to keep the muscle I have. Any recommendation on which one gives me the best chance to shed fat and keep the muscle? I have already ordered both Reta 10mg & Tirzepatide 10mg, just not sure which one I want to try first.

Either one works, some people prefer one or the other. I used both and am in the minority when I prefer tirz. Reta made me hungry and jacked my rhr up to 100 lol. Tirz no major sides besides burps, great appetite suppression.

Reta is the God of GLP-1's, you do not need both. Reta alone when I first started got rid of my food noise and made it so I did not want to eat or drink certain things such as coffee. I lost 55lbs on Reta alone, 3mg a week.

Totally agree. I went from 6 cups of coffee and sugar to just one per day. Feel great on it and no cravings for other things

If taken at the correct dose then either one will do the job. I started using tirz first and it is definitely better at suppressing the appetite. Since you have both, I’d suggest you start with Tirz and get the first half of the fat you want to lose off and then move on to reta. Pay attention to changes in your resting heart rate when you start the reta. Also, I highly recommend using pharma grade BAC water for reconstitution as the wrong PH can degrade the compound and render it almost useless.

Reta all the way. But if your still having issues with food noise, add a little Tirz to the Reta.

I'm finishing up my last 3 weeks on reta, it's been fantastic. I run my protein around 1.3g/lb bodyweight and lift 2x per week for a good pump but nothing crazy. I'm down 17lbs in only 5 weeks, too fast really. But no strength loss in gym, no increase either. I really leaned into my whey as its hard to get the protein in even while food prepping. I've never done tirz before, but based off of ppls anecdotes, and the action of the drugs i can't imagine choosing tirz over reta. Keep protein high, continue to lift and you shouldn't lose much lean tissue at all, gang. Good luck!

Great info brother! I’m ready to give Reta a try. I need to shed about 15 pounds of fat. It’s all belly fat. Nothing has been the same since I had back surgery. Ate a bunch of crap like ice cream cereal late at night. I ran a cut mix that gave me a good kick to get back after it. I think if I could just cut some fat down and regain some confidence and self esteem, it would really do me good.

Thank you!! Did you start your Reta at 1mg or 2mg per week for your first 4 weeks? Have you increased your dose at all or have you been good at the same dose?

Oh, i really fucked up w the dosages lol. 1st week i was at 2mg. 2nd week i upped to 3.5mg. HUGE FUCKING MISTAKE LOL. Felt like i had the flu, super grumpy and emotionally flat. Waves of nausea and malaise. Zofran helps alot if you have some on hand.
I should have stayed at 2mg until it became less effective, then and only then increase to 3mg. I'm at 3mg now, doubt i'll go any higher.

Thank you! This is exactly why I came here to ask these questions!

Currently on reta, I never tried any other glp1 either. I didn't even consider tirz because it has less benefits, same side effects... I mean my source sells reta cheaper than tirz so I decided to hop on it, in theory, glucagon should help you maintain same metabolic rate even if in a long cut, which is another huge benefit of reta.
Also reta had a bigger average weight loss in the studies, although it is not clear because of glucagon or because people got a stronger appetite suppression.
Both of them should preserve same amount of muscle mass as long as you eat your needed calories
