Insulin-Like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1) DESCRIPTION Insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) is a single-chain polypeptide of 70 amino acids. It is a trophic factor that circulates at high levels in the blood-stream and mediates many, if not most, of the effects of growth hormone. Although the main source of IGF-1 in the serum is the liver, many other tissues synthesize it and are sensitive to its trophic action. IGF-1 was called somatomedin in the older literature. Recently, recombinant human IGF-1 has entered the dietary supplement marketplace, as have recombinant human growth hormone and several so-called growth hormone secretagogues or releasers. IGF-DES is the most potent form of IGF-1 on the market today.

Yes the stuff its great, if you can find the real deal. But you have a better chance in finding a unicorn then real DES or even LR3, Underdosed media grade? sure its out there but properly dosed receptor grade costs you 400 bucks for 20mcg and only one company holds the patent on it and you need to be an academic insitution or accredited lab to get ahold of it.

Not trying to hijack a thread, but what do you suppose the substance is that is being sold/ marketed as IGF by so many companies? I've had good and bad experiences with research grade IGF, just curious what you think may be sold in its place to give the user actual results.
It's media grade igf-1 at best, with probably very low purity. Pretty much wothless. Receptor grade is the stuff that will cause dramatic changes in a very short period of time, but 1mg of it would cost about 4 grand if not more. I see 20mcg going for 400 bucks. But the stuff is seriously powerful if you could ever get your hands on it. No peptide site or source who sells to us sells receptor grade igf-1, you know the stuff for 59.99 lol. But high purity media grade will give you some pumps and some slight changes to the body. But that's not what real receptor grade igf-1 does. Real igf-1 is incredibly powerful. More powerful then high doses of gh+ xxxxxxx
